  1. Best size bar for husky 61 is an 18"' saw will be well balanced and not slowed up. Best of all is a 15'' with 9 toothed drive sprocket. 3/8 chain is best.
  2. I run a 357 on. 325 no problems with it, the other reason is run a 353 and a 346xp on. 325 so bars can be swapped if I need.
  3. I'm guessing his phone is now dead so right up s Creek with out a paddle.

  6. The Avant is a longer machine also a bit of a knack needed to drive them as both joy stick controls do loader and drive its a bit like tapping you head and rubbing tummy.
  7. The easiest way to make stoves up is a welding glove you just do what you want with out burning hand. Have a Stockton 5 only problem was door catch ran out of adjustment got a new one no different was welded a extra piece of steel on and have never had a problem did tell stovax but heard a thing. They are steel construction so just bend when they get to hot if you forget you left damper open
  8. Don't run 1 but did contemplate buy a couple of years ago but landed up buying a Tobroco Giant 204 because it fitted in better with work I do. Tobroco do a skid steer which is a Opico on steroids.

You may have taken out fallow deer but it would have take you van as well, saw a ford escort van at hit 1 the whole front was caved in bonnet was pushed through windscreen up against steering wheel. Deer was still just about alive but had to be despatched. Have heard a couple of Panther alarm cars driving about whistling thought it was the ladder on roof but maybe what it was.
  10. Slightly dulled small drills can be sharpened on some emery paper on a flat surface done it on jobs when no grinder on job.
  11. You can't adjust it and if you look at picture there is a gap at the top so I cut a piece off the bottom so it sat lower so when log go's through smaller pieces at bottom are split off then put top pieces through again.
  12. This is is the 4 way knife on my Riko 25T splitter just drops over knife. Also you could mount a mirror to see how things are going like the ones used on blind entrance.
  13. To right when I worked for someone had cable snap more then once and it would just coil up and hit floor but once when a strop snapped right near shackle it sent shackle back like a missile.

Had s trailer snake on me many years ago, it was loaded with straw the person I was working for used a loader which would put 40 small bales a time on a trailer so 40 on from side at front then 40 from the back. Front ones were a lot heavier going down the road it didn't feel right then it happen down a slight hill hitting banks on both sides of the road missed 2 cars coming the other way and then stopped on it's wheels and all bales on the trailer.
  18. If you look at one of the videos on YouTube it shows one hell of a roll cage. Would of liked to see it out right up against that focus rs.

  20. I do not think it can be classed as tractor to much modified, we're as valtra used standard tractor and got 70mph out off it.
  21. Weihrauch HW77 and 97 were the rifles to turn FAC up to 20ft/lbs years ago
  22. Bought 2 of them the best ones is in desert camo a lot heavier material but they were advertised as gortex but not some other waterproof material. Have just bought a Hoggs of Fife struther smock for when it turns a bit colder
  23. Isn't robinia one of the trees resistant to honey fungus.
  24. Dead horse chestnut could only get small Mewp in as tight for space and had to remove large timber.
