  1. What's the drive unit look like. Could point one of us in right direction.
  2. You also need to look for bats roosting in trees, with rot holes and flakes of bark they can get under.
  3. Surprised you had problems with Milwaukee, as a mate of mine bought one to do rivets on some kennels he built, he must of put 5000 through it with no problems.
  4. Also domestic/ household hedges need cutting certain times of the year, where as agriculture /countryside hedges are broadleaf and best cut winter.
  5. Did get the heart going a bit, but it was later in the day it hit me how lucky I had been.
  6. To get in with loader I had driven under that side to get around to other side.
  7. The plan was to reduce canopy that was left after 2 limbs had drop by 50% to retain tree, this was going to be done in a couple of weeks.
  8. Even with ear muffs on and loader running it was load.
  9. Went on Thursday to cut up 2 limbs which had fallen off Oak tree, popped back this morning to move large lumps with loader, and rest of crown decided to fall out and I was only 10 feet from it. No wind just decided it had had enough.
  10. I bought a pair of cutter gloves a couple of weeks ago, used them the other day when hedge cutting and it made a big difference only problem was had yellow hands when I took them off. Also I have had a job finding them in xl and they are still a bit tight.
  11. My work experience was the first time the introduce it, was meant to be doing butchery at local supermarket but when I got there with a group of about 10 they switched us all around I landed up in garden centre area with another lad how lasted only till first break and never came back. The last week I was there the bloke how was ment to be looking after me went on holiday and was then left to do what I had done in the first week with just the odd other person working there coming to find me and ask how I was going on, loved it.
  12. If you want to move 5 to 8 ton digger you need a trailer for the job, if you can move timber as well makes it more useful.
  13. Was it red or white diesel, makes a lot of difference if you working domestic or commercial to HMRC.
  14. I bought a rotary hand drum pump when I had to remove oil from power pack.
  15. The thing is it all depends on what you are cutting to what setup is used, no good trying to cut thick old bramble with cord or flattened grass with blade.
  16. What Brushcutter you using, mine would be husky 252 rx with shredder blade. I have been using strimmers and Brushcutters for over 40 years and used many different cutting heads.
  17. I can't see you are correct on this as cord is harder on engine.
  18. What should you not use silicone grease on? Because of their high viscosity index and low surface energy, silicone greases do not create a robust hydrodynamic film to separate components and prevent wear. As a result, Nye does not recommend silicone greases for most high load applications, like metal-on-metal gearing .
  19. Check wire on fuel shut off. Could be ignition barrel is worn a bit and works it's way off.
  20. What springs have you got at moment, I have a 130 and run brit part heavy duty 21mm springs and now after 15 years of use have only just noticed they drop quicker when loading. I spoke to rst land rover a couple of weeks ago and they have used air helpers on a 130 turned into a mobile grill it was the only way they could get it to run level from side to side. Give them a ring and take to Richard.
  21. I take it you have removed ring,
  22. You will find most if not all are grown on contract, you may find odd ones that aren't. JS Wright is one of the biggest cleft suppliers in East anglia. Maybe worth a try.
  23. Even if it was only ever two years it would get rid of the crap off the road.
