Old film was good, felling a nice tree, hedgelaying, and splitting clefts for cricket bats.

Get well soon. Had a near mis the other day was chipping and felt something hit my cheek turned out a stone in some brash had been thrown out at me. It went throw the mesh on the hats visor and in my cheek so visers don't stop every thing.

Been thinking of building a 8ton timber have found a chassis to build on but can't decide what size box steel to build body and pins out of. 70x70x5mm or 80x80x5mm anyone know what the best size to use is.

If your add says 1 ton or 1mc it must be that or if someone reports you to weights and measurers you may have some questions to answer.

On a job today cutting hedges bug house with park land around it owner has had big contractor in taking trees and scrub out but rang me about hedge cutting. I know they do every thing trees and landscaping how knows May get à lot more work get just because I cut the hedges???

Husky 61 I got new in 87 never had much sent on it just wearing parts drive sprocket, bars and chains. Did put a new plug in it last year but that only lasted a week and put the old one back in.

Don't take this the wrong way. Just use 1 of your saws you all ready have because it will last longer than any cheap saw you buy and don't chuck them in the mud if it get muddy just clean it there only saws. I never take 1 saw to a job allways 2 if 1 plays up can use the 2nd.

Stihl 230 I bought 1 last year great little saw it was just over £300. You could demote 1 of your huskys or buy a good second hand 1 and stick with a make you know well.

If Landrover built better stronger gear box's we would have no problems to deal with.

Same here pulled in to fill with fuel and then look round to find ever pump had a person dressed in chainsaw gear, when i went to pay the cashier said what pump, I said all he didn't half look then I said any joking number 6 there paying for there own.

For got to say the farm hows land it was on was know years a go to put a shot over any ones head on his land with out permission.

I worked for someone how had a Landrover 2A forward control which had a BMC 3.8 out of an old Leyland FG then it had a 4.98 Leyland terrier as it was the same clutch housing.The only problem was it would eat gear boxes if not driven properly. There was a lot of talk years ago about the Iveco engine Frog island 4X4 promoted them. Seen 2A with BMC 2.2 taxi engine, Perkins 4203, Rover V8. My brother got a 90 T5 thats been chipped that pulls like hell when towing.

Looks like the recovery guy got out before his truck went over didn't see the truck driver -
They were re-pollarded because they were last done in the 1970 and they had lost some limbs and most of the bases had rot in then and they wanted to keep them or loose them. The work was carried out for Suffolk County Council in the Dedham vale for The Managing A Masterpiece.

Re-pollarded 52 last year and 23 this year. Lots of cord wood and brash. Some pictures of the 52 we did.

Your need's to be sharp and keep cutting right up to gob cut or under cut or it will Run up or down. Best of luck. Try small bits first and see how it go's.

Just finished a repair to fencing on a piece of wet ground, new stainers were 3 metres in length had a bit of a problem getting the thumper over the top of the first one to hit it so as we had a loader on the front we went to push it in a little bit, we didn't stop till the post was at finished height of 1.2 metres.

I know your a girl, but don't let the muscles in theshoulder wasted to much because they take a long time to get back to full strength, I damage my shoulder a year ago and still not got the same strength in it that I had before.
