  1. Customer of mine needs to find out why a horse chestnut is dieing back. So need someone that can posabley do a test with a Arborsonic or simaler to find out what decay there is at base. Locaition is 7 miles north of Colchester if anyone interested.
  2. I do find him a bit of a know it all ?. But batteries a good price.
  3. There usually good on price. Tried Vulcan batteries in Cornard.
  4. Walk around with brush cutter cutting around areas and paths then go in with the biggest tractor and cutter you can. Then if its got to be done on a yearly or what ever making better access would pay in the end.
  5. The thing is how many people use 4 wheel drive on every job manage many years with out it and makes you lazy on driving skills.
  6. Yes, Why not mount it the right way on a lump of I beam sticking out back and put lugs on it and a blade on the front to lesson pull on boom

  8. Had a customer how was clearing wood away and would leave wheel barrow under tree will going off to do something else told them twice about it then it got a hit no more problem. And have worked there again.

  14. Found this on a lot of small Holm oaks in a garden I was working in today, looked at some mature ones further down the road and looked like they had the same and did not look good.
  15. Brake parts all ways use genuine parts or pay big time.
  16. Reading this reminded me my old boss ran a land rover 2A forward control which had a Leland 498 engine fitted which ran a v8 clutch never did brake it and it had a hard life.
  17. Both my land rovers are modified ( winch, lift kit, tyres, I for top. ) was told once 1 modified iterm is listed and its classed as modified you can add what ever as long as you let them know. Adrian flux insurance is best to talk to.
  18. Land rover had MOT on Thursday advice note stated; Brake pads excessive wear. Will I was at it I put a new caliper on offside as nearside had 1 a couple of years ago landed up replacing pipes as well as they broke as I was working so a proper job.
  19. Big poplar were I do some work.
  20. Maybe a silly question but how did you manage to get it in that far.
