  1. Mines great, also good for launching tennis balls for the dog!
  2. I got several from a builders merchant well over 7 years ago & they are used daily. Had concrete & everything on them were quite dear tho. Think they were gorilla tubs or something similar

Yes if it hasnt already been stopped being made
  6. I noticed the same with mine, even managed to cut through half the top strap putting the saw back in
  7. Where did you do your course?
  8. I seem to get on better not using the double snapper & tying the throwline to the rope guide & over a small fork above it lowering it that way
  9. You are limited by the plate on the van to 2250kg or which ever 1 is the lesser. I dont think you need an o licence at all since its the towing vehicle is under 3500kg. If you travel over the 50km as the crow flies & are over 3500kg you are supposed to have a tacho. But i could be wrong!!
  10. You can tow 2250kg, dont need an o licence or tacho if its 50km from base as the crow flies or not for or reward
  11. How do you go about fitting a silky saw blade to the jameson pole? Which bits do you need?
  12. Go for the 346xp i had a ms260 & after using 1 swapped to husky ground saws after 8 years of using stihl i were that impressed! Like others have said borrow 1 for the course. If you take a new saw you wont get the full benefit of it but remember to take paint brushes or toothbrushes foe cleaning
  13. Yale xtc fire 13mm splice fits through the art cocoon on my primus rope guide no problem
  14. 45m rope, 2 x 50cm prussic loops, 4 x 3 way locking carabiners, harness, 1 x split tail 5m as a minimum to get you up the tree & started. Wire core flip line & spikes for pole climbing. Then a throw line & throw bagd come in handy
  15. To update, ive got used to the lack of friction now & am loving the spider jack/art ropeguide combo even with my xtc fire!
  16. After trying the 576xpg autotune i can report back it is a very good saw! Its running a 20" & flys through the wood starts no problem, cold, hot & inbetween. Doesnt really seem very heavy when using either so no complains here!!
  17. Jcb beaver hydraulic power pack & hm25 breaker thats what i use best bit of kit for fencing ive ever bought!
  18. Its ment to clip onto the red ring though
  19. No, would be good could if you could though!!
