  2. Yeah ive watched it & i know how it works. Im using yale xtc at the minute & finding that at low heights its not self tending, im wondering if its the 13mm rope or the spiderjack being new?

  5. I seem to have the same problem by the sounds of it, i cant grip the rope without rubber grip gloves on. Is there such a thing as too much hard skin??

  10. Where you do 2 gobs & form a triangle by doing ur back cut towards it? Leaving a triangle shaped hinge. Sure that were for foward leaning trees although it always favours 1 of the directional gobs rather than the point of the triangle
  11. I had a play with mine today for the first time & found it hard to use to be honest because of the lack of friction when i wanted to tend my slack if the spiderjack hadnt done it for me. It seemed to vanish like taking 2 steps foward & one back. Any advice?

    Hitch climber

    Very simple & easy to use! Well worth the imvestment
  19. £40 roughly once you have the crabs
  20. You will not look back once you have upgraded to a hitch climber! Ive just switched to a spiderjack onwards & upwards!!!
  21. What system are you climbing on? If you got 2 of the oval dmm crabs & you progressed onto a hitch climber you wouldnt have to buy another. Just a thought
  22. They were really good when i took my policy out!
  23. Yeah the bg86 is a two stroke good piece of kit for a hand held blower
  24. KTM are alright but they do require a fair bit of maintenance as are more race bike based. Hondas are fairly bullet proof & reliable!
  25. You wouldnt want to own 1 of their dirt bikes unless you like playing with spanners more than riding it!
