Put a semi chisel chain on instead not so aggresive & less likely to kick back, other than that just keep it planted! -

Sounds like ill wait for the 550 failing that the 560 sounds lile a good bet. Dont really want to buy a saw thats already out of date if i can help it

The time has come for a new saw. I have narrowed it down to 3 husqvarna 346xp, 357xp or 560xp?? Is the 346 due to be replaced by another model any time soon?

Mine both sleep down stairs in their beds, the dog by his own choice although the bitch would rather be upstairs laying by the bed at my side. Its true about the female dog competing with the other half, i had her before i started going out with her. If we were to go for a walk she would walk between us & try to sit on my lap driving along if she was in the car too. They are both labs if that makes a difference.

Split tail or get a splice with an ART positioner with swivel would be my choice if i were to do it again

Yes you do as the brash is classed as waste. A guy round this way had his van impounded & a nice fine a few years back. Although in 6 years since ive had a WCL ive only once been asked for the number off the certificate from a tip site.
