  2. I cut them all year round, never had a problem before even with the last 2 winters
  3. When i did i wore my ppe (it were cold) but i were the only 1 that did! Dint hinder me at all!
  4. Same happened on my 52 plate truck, you had to put it in gear before starting it. Clutch was knackered!
  5. After all how much would an mot be for a trailer? A small price to pay IMO
  6. I think you have just got to look at it like this, your 16 just starting off. If you earn £100 from doing it in your spare time bonus! It should only take 1/2 to 3/4 of a day by the discription though depends what tools you have & how quick you are.
  7. I used to work for a guy who was charging £1 a piece all in.
  8. The link above says it has a carrying capacity of just over 2.5 ton
  9. Just another scam i get at least a couple of calls a month for similar books, diarys, posters, schools, fire, ambulance & poluce services as well as people offering to design websites with google key words for an upfront fee!! Jog on!!
  10. When there is still green present like in the photo the green will eventually grow over the brown if left to grow out an inch or 2. If the hedge is completely brown it wont.
  11. The towing vehicle can be upto 3500kg & the trailer can be upto 3500kg. Depends what the vehicle is plated to gross at & tow
  12. You got the jist of it though! More used to areas rather than volumes!
  13. Exactly the reason why i havent made more of an effort to get mine!!
  14. Is anyone using a hs86t 40" & how do you find it? Im currently using a hs81r & am toying with the idea of getting one just for the regular hedges i trim
  15. I payed about that for mine 4 years ago, definately worth it! I too had the intention to do my artic license but 4 years later still havent got round to saving up & doing it maybe next year!
  16. Try & protect the roots from frost if you are leaving it staked over night
  17. You will not have a problem with an ifor tt105 transporting plant, i use mine to move diggers, stump grinders, rotovators etc & have never found the height (its only a few inches higher tgan a flatbed) a problem at all!
  18. It will be fine as long as you let the frost disappear before you lay the turf. In bad weather the suppliers will not lift the turf so thats usually a good indication whether its suitable
  19. Length x width x height will give you the m2. Then the bit at the back of the trailer would be length x width x height divided by 2 to give you the area of the triangle shaped bit left. Then if you take the triangle shaped piece off 1st amount that will give you the overall amount
  20. £20 a load now, the price shot up the middle of last year. I know of plently of people in that area that will take the wood if you can drop it off?
  21. The most the newer hd transits with uprated rear end & more powerful engines can tow 2.8 max
  22. How much is the ELH? & wheres the best place to buy in the uk? Thanks
  23. Try glazewing in east dereham, the last time i had 1 it were £180 for haulage & £80 a ton +vat for green waste
  24. Exactly the same here, i have 4 of them the oldest being 7-8 years old & have only had to replace the trigger on 1
  25. Ive got the stihl one & find it quite hard work. If your quite tall like me the wrap around metal piece sits on your shoulder with the weight of the pole pruner no matter how much you adjust it & the engine keeps getting in the way. So it spends most of its time in the van!!
