  1. Hi Johny, how long did it take to process 50 cube? Does your processor split rings as well? Cheers
  2. Thanks for identifying, it's not coming down I'm afraid, noticed it on the dog walk.
  3. I'm sure one of you will know this... Thanks
  4. White poplar...
  5. Fair play that man. Just been sent the image of the bark and definitely a cherry. Cheers
  6. Cutting was taken from the canopy if that makes any difference
  7. Rubbish picture I'm afraid but any ideas?
  8. Isn't laburnum terrible to burn?
  9. So do you never bother to cover the bags outside?
  10. Done, good luck and take some pictures!
  11. Bag on the right weighs less, maybe drier kindling?
  12. The oak log was at least 2 years seasoned, but it guess could have been damp in the middle. Never seen it before, I'll try and upload again.
  13. Chucked on a chunk of oak last night and got this green flame. Never seen it before, any reasons why?
  14. Would be interested in the company info for the glass. My local glazier wanted £130 odd for one piece. Mind you it's a big bit of glass, but still....
  15. My only complaints are that one, the front grate that runs from left to right has warped snd now doesn't fit properly so keeps falling in the ash and two, the glass has kind of misted over, not soot, as I burn quality wood so it's not as velar as I would like it to be, but saying that, a cracking wood burner.
  16. Followed the arrows on the liner.
  17. I agree, I did my own installation, a roofer mate dropped the liner ( lots of companies on line do the liners and the fixtures and fittings )and a builder mate helped install the stove, did a bit of brickwork etc, I took photos and video as we progressed. Got it signed off and saved a fortune.
  18. What size diameter timber can they cut? They are half the price of a Riko! Wonder about the build quality...
  19. We have 2 fans on top of our 12kw stove and they really do distribute the heat well. A thermal image of a running stove shows you that most of the heat is within a few feet around the stove and then obviously straight up towards the ceiling. With a fan running the heat is evenly spread around the room. If I have to go to the bathroom in the night, I can feel the heat at the top of the stairs, works for us!
  20. How many cube can you dry at a time and what do you think it costs in electric / diesel per container load?
  21. So roughly a cube every couple of days?
  22. Pink foot, sounds like a good idea, got any pictures? How long before you have to reload the burner and does it burn overnight?
  23.

  25. Sounds very interesting. So what type of wood do u feed the boiler? Does it really have to be 20% or less or can you be a big less picky? Will it take chip as well? Cheers
