  1. So if there was a heat test over lets say an hour, and quantity of logs and loading the stove didn't matter, would the softwood win?
  2. Hi wood works, got the same trailer as yours 8x4? What do you charge for a trailer load of logs out of interest? Cheers
  3. Superb. What's the plan?
  4. Hi Alec, Any news?
  5. Let's go for green, they will season soon enough and and movement will only add character. They are for indoor use.
  6. Hi Alec, Based in Woking. Let's say 5 of each to start. Does it make a difference if it's green or seasoned? They are going to be wall mounted log racks?
  7. Hi, I'm looking to buy some timber boards / planks to make some log racks from. The timber dimensions that I think would work are 250mm wide 25mm thick by 500/1000/1500 height. Ideally the boards would be hardwood but I'm very open to suggestions on any softwoods. I'm based in surrey so please factor in shipping if required. Thanks for any help, Cheers Richard
  8. Hi Jonny, I'm based in Woking so close to you. What's the sheeting you use to keep the logs from falling in the pics?? Looks great.
  9. Never left outside, greased regularly, guessing no more than 50 hours work, all parts, even have paperwork somewhere. For sale pm for details. Cheers

  11. You lost the job to someone else. Maybe she got 3 quotes and you all put in the same effort. Tough! If i accepted one quote, and then got a bill from another contractor for work put into quoting i know what I would do
  12. Hi wood works, just out of interest what did you get for your hycrack? I have the hc1 with larger base and it's only done 30 hours max. Looking to sell it so would be interested to know. Thanks
  13. Cracking stoves, we have the wakerley, can't fault it
  14. Yeah, exactly the same but made by a company called valiant. Got them on amazon. Jon, the stove we have seriously kicks out the heat and our downstairs is all open plan so 2fans work well, one in each rear corner. The stove is 750mm wide
  15. I have 2 fans on the top of my 12kw and they really do push the heat out. They are exactly the same as the one on the front of your box, and were £57 each.
  16. Losing the plot. It's a 90
  17. That's what I meant 45
  18. There's a door in the bend, just below the thermometer. All signed off by Hetas. You are allowed a 90 if u have a door. Burner works a treat and no issues with draw.
  19. Hi Jon, the stove kicks out a lot of heat and we are all open plan living downstairs so the 2 fans just spread the heat that bit further. Plus i just love the way they work!!
  20. I paid just over a grand for mine
  21. Here's my Burley wakerley in full flight with the stove fans pushing the heat out to all corners.
  22. Burley. We have the 12kw Wakerley which absolutely kicks out the heat and is really efficient. They do lots of stoves but if you wasn't amazing heat and efficiency, this is the make for you. They are just superbly made stoves.
  23. Hi, great log stores can you pm me details of prices to Woking surrey please. Is there a trade price?
  24. Hi Jim, I have the yard next to Danny and Rosemary at Greenplant and tried the 18 towable there. Absolutely loved it, great splitter. Will soon be trying the wp36 which should be fun. Cheers
