  1. Website doesn't tell you prices, so what's the road towable 18 tonne petrol cost?? Tried one the other day, brilliant machine but need a rough price if anyone knows?
  2. Tad jealous are we
  3. It's such an easy job it's laughable. If it was an old lady how could you possibly charge over £50, or anyone else for that matter. Daylight robbery if you charge more. All this I'm a tree surgeon i need to charge xyz is rubbish. Establish before you go to quote for the job if its what you do, and if you decide to go you should explain why you would have to charge more than a gardener. Jump of your high horses any one who thinks its worth more. We all know its 30 mins work max. Greed, it's a killer.
  4. Yes madam, I'll cut your hedge, but ON MY TERMS! OK!!
  5. But only when it's good for me. Yeah ok mate
  6. Where abouts are you???
  7. "You would not be able to afford me" What a thing to say. Bet you're the sort of bloke who says " oi kid, don't touch what you can't afford"
  8. You are right Stubby, Burley say the 8 kw is more like 11 and the 12 more like 18, when on full power
  9. Alycidon, Burley do the 12kw Wakerley, the largest of their stoves. Can't wait to test it.
  10. Stubby, took delivery of the Wakerley this week, the 12 kw from Burley. Are they as good as i think??
  11. I thought the same, but phoned the company making the 20mm floor plate and asked if this would be ok on a wood floor and she said "probably" not what i wanted to hear really
  12. Just taken delivery of a Burley 12 kw stove. Our old stove was an inset stove so we are blocking off the old fireplace and having a free standing one instead. We have oak flooring and my question is, will a 20mm resin floor plate on the oak floor be safe? I know the regs state 12mm if the stove hearth does not reach 100 c. Cheers
  13. Do you mean mid 50's

  20. Bit of a girls tool. Brilliant video though...
  21. Thanks Slack. I filed the Lucas key down, it fits all the way into lock but won't bleeding turn, tried all sorts but still won't turn. Is my only real option a new barrel? Also slid a small flat head driver in there, did the same, would not turn....
  22. Thanks cosmic, I saw that key as well, but seems very similar to the lucas
