Currently have a mark 4 hilux which is superb but am looking for something bigger, get the dog and kids in, tow the trailer for logs etc a work horse like the hilux, but have been told that the discos are always going wrong. Anyone here got one or can advise which model to go for? Looking for a early 2000 model. Cheers

  4. Been told that for an average size home you need approx 7 cube logs a year. Who knows what the costs would be to install the boiler. At the moment all pipe work and boiler are in the garage.

  8. Cheers for comments. Looking at a Klover or Eco Angus. The Klovers are expensive but look the nuts and heat the room as well.

  10. Thinking very seriously about having a biomass boiler installed with a thermal accumulator tank to store extra heat. I run a small log business so have plenty of fuel but was wondering if anyone here has one or could offer any advice, pros and cons etc?. I'm aware of the costs but have talked to a few heat engineers who seem to think the installation is quite straight forward given hat all pipe work and existing boiler is in the garage. Cheers for any feedback

  15. The species is a Robinia pseudoacacia, if it has the yellow leaf its called a Frisia. They are very easily deseased which is a great shame.

  23. A Hycrack log splitter. PTO corkscrew. Cant be beaten. Miles faster than any hydralic thing
  24. out of interest how much do you charge for your logs? sister in law lives in your neck of the woods
  25. must be over 45 hp - front loader ideally but have a couple of grand to spend. I know this will only get nme an old one but only need run a pto splitter. PM me please
