  1. Last one I had was when I was bitten by a dog. Time before that was when I was bitten by a tortoise. I get bitten a lot.
  2. This might interest you... Model Profile: R420
  3. As much as I'll never buy aspen because I'm frugal (and have a stash of 2T to work through), I do agree that if it's a specific fuel that can only be used in machinery (equivalent to Red Diesel) then it should be available at a concessionary rate to consumers. Maybe Mr. Aspen should start a petition we could all sign to that affect? I'll go with whatever's best if it's cheap enough dudes.
  4. Bet the OP wishes he'd never asked! Talk about a mauling!
  5. Thanks Harvey, seems strange. Maybe it's just the accumulative 'gumming up' of the carb over time. Might be worth trying a bit of RedEx in the next tank of fresh. Give the carb a good flush through. I always use a shot of RedEx in the first tsnk of the season on my brushcutters and strim ers. Got to admire your style buying the mighty 9010! I hanker after one sooo bad despite having noooo justification for owning one, it's just so 'pukka looking'.
  6. I guess that leaves Stihl or B&Q Special to try! Lol
  7. Electronics, Cars, Fashion, Collectibles, Coupons and More | eBay List it honestly and move on.
  8. Just out of interest Harvey, how old was the fuel, and was it pre-mixed or mixed prior to filling. I have the DCS4301 which sat with premixed 95 Ron Tesco petrol and Stihl HP oil mixed 33-1 and it ran fine after two tugs following a year without use.
  9. Nice one, that'll be a beast! Let us know how it performs.
  10. Whatever's on offer. Most of mine ends up in my brushcutters which seem happy enough with anything red, stinky and two stroke flavoured. I think we tend to over analyse oils in this day and age. Mostly succumbing to the influence of the infernal marketing guff I suspect.
  11. I'm presuming the price quoted was for a box fresh article from your dealer's stock? If so how about you ask him what they'd want for the 'ex-demo saw' you've been using at a 'reduced to clear' price?

    Gypies

I wonder what a gypsy would do if you left an old microwave out on your drive.....with a black cat inside it?
  13. So are button mushrooms grown on buttons?
  14. Only allowed to watch forest porn when the boss has gone to bed Jon!
  15. Are you prepared to 'shell out' on some then?
  16. You throbber! Lol. I bit
  17. Ok mate, if the cell block pay phone is free. Have a good night dude!
  18. This if I may say so sounds like a load of scaremongery b*llocks. I very, very seriously doubt that a warranty claim sent back to a local distributor will result in Husqvarna deploying their CSI task force down with face masks and swabs to test for 'residue'. Then send the samples to a chemical lab for analysis (costing thousands) and then fight the legal battle with their hard earnt 'evidence'. Relax man, run it on what you can buy for a reasonable price and see fit, don't admit to anything other than running it on 'the good stuff' and leave it to them to prove otherwise. A lot of money, power and influence has been brought to bear on a lot of otherwise rational people through these 'fear tactics'. Ignore it, press on, life's to short dude.
  19. Richie's allowed out every time he's well behaved. That's why he's only allowed out once a year! He's a good boy though!
  20. Might be worth a quick PM to user 'Asatchy' as he's based in Studley. Not sure if he's into this kind of work but I know he's an accomplished landscaper.
  21. It's a tree bollock. Evolution finally arrives!
