  1. Stakeout with some heavies from the local pub?
  2. If you can find one, get a Kaaz Danarm VF500. Kawasaki engine, lowest vibrations in class, and about 500 bones brand new. Way better than my Stihl FS90 but a bit more raucous. If I had unlimited funds I'd buy a new Stihl FS490
  3. You'll be fine now! Just a suggestion, look at purchasing an Angel juicer (5500) and juice green leaves such as kale, spinach and pak choi, mixed with carrots for sweetness. Also get some IP6 and Inositol powders (not rip off capsules) to aid your resistance to relapse. Have fun!
  4. Any drunk gentlemen? That's the only one we haven't ruled out. Hic.
  5. Has beer or wine gone up? If not then I'm happy.
  6. I'd rather have a Vespa than a ring. Then again that's just me.
  7. To be honest it's working out peachy. I buy all the toys I need (want) and she just shrugs, moans while they live I the lounge while they 'acclimatise to their new home' and then gets on with life. I'm told she came down one Friday night to find me asleep hugging my new Fein Multimaster. Who says romance is dead?
  8. Since I'm not married yet I might splash out on a Makita DCS9010
  9. Not that I've ever bought my better half a chainsaw lol.
  10. I can see this backfiring Richie my mate. You buy your dream saw. You 'present' it to Mrs Richie. You no longer have ANY right to touch that saw. That's how it works round here.
  11. Got mine from Axminster Tools. Not expensive, works well and can be used on stone/brick.
  12. Even if they did, your mate would need very deep pockets...
  13. Jon from Mendiplogs. He'd make Clarkson look like a primary school teacher. Let's get him on the show! Petition time!
  14. Mass Arbtalk party in Bewdley soon then? RichieR will love a few beers, CovClimber can come, and you're only in the chair for the first round. Disclaimer: due to drink/drive rules we may not be able/willing to stay for more than one pint.
  15. In my humble opinion, we all want to look rugged and 'American' and drive a pick up truck, even I would love one. Reality is, in the UK they just don't work. The bed is open to the elements so if everything doesn't get stolen at every set of lights, or when you pop into the supermarket for a sandwich, it will rust or sag. Put a solid roof over it and apart from the cost, you've ruined the looks and limited the height of any goods carried to that of an MPV. Then you've got to deal with the fuel consumption, half what you'd get in a van or MPV/Estate car. What we all need is a van, our ego says were better than that, and so like The Fall Guy we buy a stuntman worthy 'truck' to massage our ego. And then have to leave all our tools and goodies at home so they don't get stolen.
  16. Currently only about 25,000. Prior to these last 18 months I was doing 50,000 plus per year. I did this for 6 years and wore out two cars completely in three years. I didn't have any crashes and haven't since. Maybe my standard of driving is a little higher than average as a result eh.
  17. Owned by TAta, made in Solihul. It's the British jobs that count at the end of the day. I don't think most people see Jaguar Land Rover as an iconic Indian brand/brands do they? Pedant.
