  7. on the husky technical's i just take all the visor stuff off and just use a visor of a standard husky which clips into the ears defender mounts. think you have to replace the technical ears defenders of as well. no more flappy visor falling off
  8. its husqvarna using low quality seal parts causing the problem in the first place, dealer i spoke to today confirmed this. fuel is still an issue with saws left on idle too long and the carb wondering what it should be doing, also fuel filters clogging up and gauze in the carb becoming blocked due to bad pump fuel with high ethanol levels
  9. i think the problem was new top end on a high hours bottom end caused the second issue, do you think husqvarna are going to give out pretty much a brand new saw when the one purchased is worn out before the warranty has expired?? the saws are great just the build quality is still questionable
  10. I had same problems on a 560 ended up being a whole new pot piston carb luckily was covered under warranty few months later new crank seals then lasted a month then went in the bin!!
  11. Ive split one of these husqvarna axes in half from just banging wedges(plastic) as the poll and axe are held together by some dubious fixing which is cleverly hidden by the rest of the handle. Great weight and size though
  12. check the fitment of the pipe which oils the bar where it connects to the pump, found a split in it causing problems , ive had a few fail here over the years and also the brass filter in the the tank once was clogged up with fine gunk
