  1. Seized piston already? Lol it was only a new one on this afternoon a meteor one. Compression gauge ordered
  2. Little update, I've set the L and H to the standard settings, I've the idle turned all the way up as far as she goes. The saw is easier to start at the idle on full and runs the bar on as you say and I've used the throttle and when's it's at 100% it cuts out but when I do up to 90% throttle it revs fine no probs. Any lower on the idle the saw is very difficult to start and if it does it only runs for a few revs then conks out. I appreciate its very hard to find answers across the net so thanks for the patience I have another carb ill try tomorrow and see if it goes any better. Garden kit - I will remember this in future gonads need to stay in tact
  3. Rich2484 - I live in Northern Ireland Spudulike - Thanks for big help hopefully it is a faulty carb. Again thanks for the prompt help, can't fault it across here
  4. Alas I am illequipped with such a device. This saw is abit of a frankenstein saw from all the parts that I had gathered up. was so bored today that I decided to give it a shot. Though the pull start does feel that it comes about abit too easy.
  5. Quick video of the results, possible air leak or carb adjustments? Saw near enough only runs on full throttle. The first 80% if throttle travel just results in cutting out. I've no idea about carb adjustments so it more than likely is all over the place in the settings. I had the throttle on full towards the end of the video then it died out. Any ideas? 6. Done piston, installed everything back together but runs very erects ally, Imust need to fiddle with the carb settings now?
  7. Excellent help as always spudulike the Ms200t barrel on the left in the first photos are you referring to? Aluminium transfer being the black marks on the sides of the barrel? Semi coarse abrasive paper 240grit fine?
  8. Very good finds, exactly the type of stuff I like to watch/learn!
  9. Interesting! I'll be watching this...
  10. On my bench today are two 200t barrels. My question is before i waste time trying to clean them, are these two cylinders compatible? They both have 1129 on them but one has different side lets. The barrel on the right is the original but has a little damage which are shown in the last two pictures. Secondly are they of any use? I apologise on advance if it is hard to make out from thr pictures. The cause of failure is unknown on both of them.
  11. Seriously though how do you get it that clean!
  12. Charge what you would normally charge, if they don't take it then its not worth doing.

    ash dieback

If the dieback was localised on the tree on the the branches? What's to stop it from entering the fresh cuts?
  14. Sounds fair Good minimal backup plan in place. It's not the employers fault the job has been cancelled but then again he did request the climber for that day.

It's true but I was only using that as a demonstration at the extreme end of the scale.

Age does not come into it to be a major factor. More often than not it is the way your food is cooked, replace cooking oil with Fry Lite. Eat the obvious stuff such as yoghurt, fruit, vegetables and meat. Just change the way you cook it. Make most of your meals from scratch so you know what goes into it. It really is all about preparation. Combined with a proactive lifestyle and you couldn't go wrong. Drink your daily requirement of water. Don't rely on calories, you can still consume 3-4000 calories of good nutrients and still lose weight. Look at bodybuilders for proof. If you want some recipes hit me up, nothing tastes as good like a massive dinner you cooked yourself.
  18. That's Hama happy regarding the import ban At least something is being done about it. Hopefully it really isn't too late...
  19. I agree with skyhuck in that there are next to no viruses attacking Apple products. I can't remember how many times I've had all my stuff wiped off my windows desktop only to never get it all back again due to viruses.
  20. Comparing with the PDF from the FC with the Ash trees out the back field, it looks like it has arrived here as well. IMO it's already too late to do anything except leave it up to the scientists. It's made it's stealthy entrance, and while some might see this as "pessimistic" in reality, it's the truth (we can do nothing at all)."
  21. Step up the security, must of been easy enough if they got all that gear away.
  22. Re: the white stuff possibly mealybugs? what do they look like when touched/damaged?
