  1. And just while Im on the subject...IDs?
  2. Hi all this week ive found myself spotting more fungus than ever, just by chance most of the time. it seems to always catch me in the corner of my eye. Ive tried IDing most of these but some of them I cant get so feedback would be great. Found some Blushing Rosettes on a bench in a garden. At the buttress of an Ash tree some (what i hope to be) Amanita rubescens. On a massive dead stump some Dryads saddle? The rest I have no idea :-P
  3. The monolith is pretty pointless tbh but that's just me.
  4. Hi Dave, nobody's replied so I will bring my 2pence in. Can't speak for across the water but over here the power line company is to be contacted and maps accessed off them directly. Don't really think its a thing that would be publicly available.
  5. I'm not too sure if the guide bar is a max length of 15 inches but Cs30/31 only cover you to fell and process tree with a max diameter of 380mm for sure. But nonetheless is a precautionary worth looking in to. Maybe instructors could surface some answer?
  6. No disrespect intended but any details on what happened?
  7. Yes but you still haven't explained how to eliminate the threat. Tightening the borders might stop future diseases etc coming through but you only know an infection has arrived until it displays its symptoms and by that rate it's already made its home is what I was getting at. This " one disease" is what I'm talking about in specific. Not generically.
  8. what benefit did you gain by that comment All I did as ask a question. Let's say a ban came into force. No more imported trees from Holland or wherever, who or what is to stop the spread now that it has already landed.
  9. If it has already landed then maybe it's already too late?
  10. Found this out and about on todays travels. The last two shots im most curious as to what it is. Identions would be greatly appreciated
  11. Can I ask Tony what is the aim of your survey?
  12. There's only one way to find out!
  13. I have some photos of some mildew on an Acer. Wether or not it is the same as being spoke about I have no idea but will post some pics up this afternoon
  14. Had insurance off these guys for while back, didn't need it anymore so had cancelled he policy. Failed to mention a £75 "broker fee".
  15. That's the way it is, suck it up or retrain
  16. Is it just me or does anyone find the chute is not wide enough and blocks easy?
  17. Where does one learn all this magical knowledge?,
  18. The Haix boots have never failed me but then Ive always had my employer buy them. I can see from a business owner point of view that this is expensive but surely it is worth the hassle of an accident. Ive cut my boot with little nicks a few times and Im grateful that I had them on.
  19. I thought this at first but the more i used it the more i liked it. There is a youtube video that shows a 201 with the muffler mod and carb retuned. It was something like 30% quicker in a cut of 6inch wood. Unfortunately i dont have the link handy im afraid.
