  1. Thanks got to get in to the habit of taking photos usually to involved in the job to think about it I've done some great jobs just have very little evidence.
  2. Two tomorrow and two mon both new clients. Website providing customers and were not even promoting the firewood side yet:001_smile: Don't really like delivering logs in the summer and were that busy with other things its a bit of a pain.
  3. Water water water if its still yellow remove or spread 1 part sand to two parts loam and over turf. We took on a job another firm messed up and over turfed it with great success i was sceptical at first but its come really well:001_smile:

  6. The farmer wanted us to put it in a pile and he was going to sort it. Reckon there was 25ton of good timber in it. Wish id taken photos of yesterdays job that was better again

  9. Im sure you have, have you ever revisited them???? Were going to have to agree to disagree on it both our climbers are certed arbs and both agree with my way of thinking. There not the same as lime or ash which lend themselves to pollarding well.

  17. There was Beech coming off one of the jobs I was buying firewood off it was 22 inch + across dead straight no branches and that was making 5 k a lorry load. I'm sure it was going for vernear
  18. Round here it could be between £5,00 to £7.00 a meter depending on spec
  19. Ive seen quite a few offers on sb the one we purchased had come from Cheltenham flower festival so were specimen stock. Must start taking more photos of what we do.
  20. Ive been using that over the last week after our suppliers recommended it after been a bit sceptical at first its turned out to be very capable as you say durable and clean cutting ours is used in the big km
  21. Most of the ones I've seen heavily reduced don't get a next time. Why can't they replant even mature SB are quite reasonably priced we put 3 in last year 14ft 6 ft canopy we paid £190.00 each for them

After getting my 880 off the shelf to sharpen the fuel was stale beyond belief quite rank really i tipped and refuelled if one of my guys had got it out they would of used it as it was and who knows what damage could of been done. I think its the obvious choice for stuff thats not used reg in everything every day I'm not convinced yet. Unfortantly our local suppliers don't have it Whats the minimum order i can have shipped direct Ed
