  1. Ive recently completed a job where there was two layers on sub soil so makes sense
  2. Iknow jon people spend so much time with there head up there arse these days judging everyone elsa from there ivory towers. Live and let live. But i do wonder how some people would cope dealing with real problems\hardship. Keep it up mucker

  5. Thanks got to get in to the habit of taking photos usually to involved in the job to think about it I've done some great jobs just have very little evidence.
  6. Two tomorrow and two mon both new clients. Website providing customers and were not even promoting the firewood side yet:001_smile: Don't really like delivering logs in the summer and were that busy with other things its a bit of a pain.
  7. Water water water if its still yellow remove or spread 1 part sand to two parts loam and over turf. We took on a job another firm messed up and over turfed it with great success i was sceptical at first but its come really well:001_smile:

  10. The farmer wanted us to put it in a pile and he was going to sort it. Reckon there was 25ton of good timber in it. Wish id taken photos of yesterdays job that was better again

  13. Im sure you have, have you ever revisited them???? Were going to have to agree to disagree on it both our climbers are certed arbs and both agree with my way of thinking. There not the same as lime or ash which lend themselves to pollarding well.

  21. There was Beech coming off one of the jobs I was buying firewood off it was 22 inch + across dead straight no branches and that was making 5 k a lorry load. I'm sure it was going for vernear
  22. Round here it could be between £5,00 to £7.00 a meter depending on spec
