  1. We're you not considering getting a rebaund processor ???
  2. I use to be in the same situation my farther got a gang of steel erectors to hammer me into shape. Mind you I did wonder what was going on when I got dragged out of bed by my feet at 4am on a Monday morning and taken to Scotland to work. 5 years later i became a ganger and started taking other troubled lads away to work bit of a motley crew but we did put a lot of steel up they use to earn as much in bonuses as wages. They have all gone on to have family's and lead constructive lives. Sadly the ones that helped me have all passed on rare breed of men
  3. I did it before but it didn't work out. A few people really helped me after freds accident so I'm just returning the favour.
  4. Don't take the micky out of the mighty zetor
  5. We need to do more to help the younger generation if you can teach them before they get to far into there criminal career they may stand a chance. I took a young lad on exe addict been I band out of young offenders and jail he works hard and seems to have turned the corner.
  6. No coffee how would I get out of bed in the morning ??? Agreed on the sports drinks all though I may have a lucazade at 4pm to keep me going.
  7. I cut the trunk in to 4 pieces of what I thought would be equal weight his tele refused to pick up one and just about lifted the rest that's a 2.5 ton machine. With the forks he had I could get a fair pile of cord on and there had to be a ton on each of the 15 trips. Plus 3 spud boxes of dead wood put by his bio mass boiler. We were going to cut a ruff bench out of the bottom of the trunk but it had rot and most of the hart wood had gone shame.
  8. Not another looney tune!
  9. No it's clean isn't it the 12 ways new as there was a slight problem with the old one. I've had to work very hard to get all my gear and like to keep it tidy. If you look at an earlier picture of my tree surgery saws some of them are 5 years old but still look clean and tidy. Nowt wrong with a bit of OCD
  10. That's just wrong it's like my mrs having tomato sauce in a roast dinner with gravy.
  11. It's not all about temperature.
  12. Same as normal weather coffee water beer unless I'm having a bad day then I'll skip the water
  13. To be honest steve the bigger the job is the less likely i am to take photos when i came to build our site i had to beg and borrow stuff we have done some nice stuff over the years yet have no evidence of it.
  14. Been a sad git today and stood in front of the processor then delivered two bags this afternoon with two more loaded for morning
  15. To be honest it was my first thought but there was so much dead in it that we would have had a couple of hundred square meters of half tidy lawn to clear. We contained the dead bits at the rim of the tree and had it cleared with a loader in 20 mins. I also wanted to see our new climber in action on the bigger stuff I'm pleased to say i was more than impressed.
  16. Blooming hell double knock out
  17. Mulching creates thatch which is never a good thing if you want a fine lawn anybody mulching should aerate/ scarify regular to get oxygen down to the root system.

Lighten up i was trying to get you to share your experience to get a better understanding of the situation if you don't want to share thats fine. Injoy the rest of your evening
  21. Ive recently completed a job where there was two layers on sub soil so makes sense
  22. Iknow jon people spend so much time with there head up there arse these days judging everyone elsa from there ivory towers. Live and let live. But i do wonder how some people would cope dealing with real problems\hardship. Keep it up mucker
