  1. scouser?
  2. I have an insulated container, which has the same problems as a normal steel one, but it takes longer for them to develop. If you open the door on a nice dry sunny day, warm air that feels dry, rushes in. The next morning the dew is on the grass because the air cooled down and couldn't hold on to it anymore. In the container all your tools are dripping. A dehumidifier will sort out the problem, and depending on what you store, you can dry out the contents of your container, it will take several opening s of the door to replace the moisture so it need not run the whole time. In the absence of power to the container try to make sure it catches the evening sun, it will stay warm while the surroundings cool, the water will appear as dew on the grass then as the container cools it will be drawing in air that hasnt got that moisture with it. None of this will help if you throw your wet gear in after a hard day, and disappear off to the pub:001_cool:
  3. is white different to silver?

  5. As the title, I have an area of old orchard with bramble mainly in the tree rows but growing across in places. I need to make enough room to get in with a sprayer, what do you think?

  11. does the fruit have a stone?
  12. Nice work, do you carve green wood or must it be seasoned?
  13. Pastygate ???? could you enlighten me
  14. I have some similar that were around a silage pit, no smell of peaches though ...and thanks for the earlier response
  15. the odd bat would fly away once disturbed and find somewhere else to live, but it would be easy to disturb a maternity roost and cause long term damage to a colony, having an expert in could prevent that. However we all know the penalties of having the "authorities" involved
  16. excuse my ignorance but what is green hart?
  17. we used to to use the car exhaust and an old vacuum cleaner hose, but pretty much pointless now that they all have catalytic converters. bring back carbon mon!
  18. what are we looking for?
  19. PM sent

  21. thats too much of a stretch. I am looking for some to try as cattle bedding, but we are kent/surrey borders btw anyone else using arb arisings for cattle/sheep?
  22. where are you ?
  23. depends what you think of midges and mosquitos, I dont think its the bats that are a problem, just the crazy way the are being "looked after" by the authorities
  24. the droppings of mice and bats look very similar, but bats are crumbly in consistency and mouse much more like paste then hard as it drys. Under a microscope you can easily see wings and legs of insects in the bats droppings.
  25. granted. What would you mount a knocker on other than a tractor? (Mines on the front of the 530 70)
