  1. The motor is going backward so everything should be attached. I did notice a loose bolt holding the wires on the selionoid. But it still starts up ok. About to check it over shortly
  2. not yet. Just getting some ideas what it could be before i work on it tomorrow morning
  3. Nearly got squashed by the neighbours shed roof while sheeting over last thing
  4. Need advice. My old entec chipper with single feed roller (1999) stopped feeding today after about 3 hours of work (while working). The belt to the oil pump is working, driving and tight (it will reverse) . There is power to the stress control box and no wires seem to be loose including in the control box. There's also plenty of oil. Any ideas
  5. rover i can see why you quit banking now. My bank knows i use my account for business and have no problem with it and i'm not a earning mega bucks so why should they charge me to bank
  6. Are your cheques in you name or a company name. I've been with lloyds tsb for years on a personal account with no problem (only have cheques in my name). They did say the only problem doing it this way is if i go bankrupt you risk everthing
  7. Freeze em first, chop into pieces big enough to go through chipper and chip into river. Just dont forget to put some wood through after. Cleans the chipper out. PERFECT . Problem with pigs they cannot digest the teeth

  9. I've got a neighbour who used to have my logs and now pays twice as much for half as much and now she telling me how to burn logs. Wouldn't be to bad but she's been burning logs for less than a year and i've been selling for 18 years. But what do i know
  10. Did have another one that wanted a load of oak because his wood burner would only burn oak (i supply 75% hardwood in my loads) Asked him how he would start his fire he replyed "o i use firelighters"

  13. The world is full of them. There is a person up the road from me who needs a large chestnut tree removing for there new extension and someone has offered to fell and clear it in exchange for the wood. Only problem is they have no idea of what they doing. Just waiting for the ambulance to go by
  14. Lighter than birch with soft bark sounds like someones been sold soft wood thats why so cheap
  15. Pre packed dog poo, got loads of that in the bottom of my hedge up the side of the field which is next to a footpath. I always chuck it out onto the gardens so my sheep dont eat it. I never understand people who pick it up then chuck it in the hedge. WHY
  16. I had a border collie till a couple of months ago he would rip anyone's arm/face off if they stuck it in the van. No one got near it if i wasn't there. Would not even be friendly for food. A VOSA bloke climed in once but lucky for him MAX (may dog) could see me so didnt strike. Would have been funny to watch. I do miss him and have to learn to lock my van now after about 12 years of not bothering
  17. So whats the dog going to drink now. I got myself a kettle that i leave in me log pile keeps me warm and makes a brew in a couple of minutes. May try a fryup one day

  21. STRESS whats that. Keep one day a week for you and you family and sod the rest. Works for me
  22. Have one on my 1.5 tonne JCB great bit of kit and very solid. My dads not even bent it yet and he can break anything. Save alot of back breaking work. Got mine from a firm called ABILJO they make digger buckets and attachments for all size machines and cheaper than most
  23. Have a look on youtube for something called HAARP. Very interesting could explain the strange weather we are having. What do you think ? ( sorry dont no how to do links but someone cleaver than me may do one)
  24. Would not touch chainsaw cheap copy, trousers not bad though
  25. YES my 35 has one fitted but you will need a good weight on the back and a good set of tyres
