  1. I don't understand, the usual question is Electric or hydraulic, are you talking about a tractor winch or one for a 4x4?
  2. I have (without being asked) received Earl Grey from some people, when I spat it onto the ground immediately they understood the gravity of the mistake.
  3. Ah that brings up something that has been bothering me, most tree surgeon's woodchip piles will contain the remains of diseased trees, after all that is often what we are called out to fell. I recently dug a pond in my garden, planted some shrubs, chipped it up and hey presto! a month later a forest of, well, honey coloured fungi. Could it be a very real danger that we are spreading pathogens (if thats the right word) Sorry if this is covered earlier in the thread, I will go back and look now.

    I have one aswell, I bring it out periodically as a back up for the 066 and the 288, bloody great lump, torquey and the sound is brilliant, I would love an 090 for fun, any for sale?

  9. It is not for me to tell you what to do but honestly Redwood is the easiest grinding I have ever done; Post some pics if you can.
  10. Redwood is as soft as butter, I did one with a rayco 1625, took all day and the stump was not as big as yours probably but still, a 50hp machine should do it in a day. As you probably know Its clearing the grindings whilst doing it that is the real pita, just a thought.
