  2. on the old 020 you could slide out the baffle with an allen key. bags more poke, very noisy though.
  3. Fair enough, but he started it!
  4. Laughable post, infact the "noble art of rugby" is played by 9 countries seriously. Football by hundreds. "Encourage more people to watch"! How many people do you think watch professional football worldwide compared to rugby? Look, I like ruby it's a good watch and my nephews both play to a good standard. But it's not comparable to Footy in popularity, not even close!
  5. Here we go...anti football brigade. Boring.....
  6. And the Welsh just lost aswell, perfect!
  7. Likewise on the big chunk, it's often where a piece has got stuck in the aperture where the top roller moves. Big chunk in, then stop the rollers with the safety bar, free the piece, then restart.
  8. :001_smile:Looks like a purple plum from here:001_smile: If it is a beech it's beyond help.
  9. :crazy:Someone's medication needs to be increased!
  10. Yes, cannot argue with that:deal:
  11. Yeah yeah, fully inform the client so they can make a decision etc. However very often they want you to guide them, if you say "you can reduce, fell or thin....." they look at you and say "what would you do?" They don't want a list of options they want a decision. Using the phrase "If it was next to my house I would reduce, fell, thin....." This seems to satisfy them. Ps after you have listened attentively to their concerns.
  12. Good post. Listening to clients instead of "educating" them sometimes a novel approach on here:001_smile:
  13. Oh well, each to their own.
  14. 200 201 whatever, I mean when you pull it up there is more to pull and you cannot reach further than your arm, or am I missing something?
  15. Hi Silky, something I have noticed with whoever is up that cedar and other pics, is that some people have the MS200 on a really long strop, why is that? Surely any longer than arms length is a pita.
  16. I watched the council out here pollard 6 limes 4 blokes, hired chipper, mewp, hired tipper. 4 days, estimated cost €5000, We could have done it in two days, max cost €1500. Don't forget it's us that pay!
  17. €600 in France .....you go figure:confused1:
  18. Wall's Vienneta
  19. With respect to the other posters on here, that is the clearest and best explanation so far, and.....it did not make my head hurt, Thanks ps I think Robarb you are perhaps being deliberately obtuse:001_smile:
  20. Ah I remember it, the title was "and you think you're a technical rigger"
  21. Who knows the circumstances? maybe it was not that flooded when it broke down? maybe no towtruck would leave the garage. Dunno, just pointing it out, honestly it's no biggy:001_smile: Quick edit as I've just seen Geoff's post, Maybe the Range Rover should have pulled him out! We are perhaps guilty of stereo-typing him as an upper-class idiot, whilst we are all Land Rover owning horny handed sons of the soil who would know better.
  22. How prepared am I ? not at all I am living my life, if that particular brand of weirdo called survivalist or whatever wants to fantasise about it, fill your boots !
  23. On a serious note; interesting that when chippers and vans get nicked we all condemn the thieves as scum and sympathise, but when someone (not one of us!) perceived as rich or stupid has what could be their hard earned material goods taken, we laugh about it. (I am aware I joked about it aswell!)
  24. I 'spose keep your eyes open for a '98 corsa with some flash wheels!
