  1. IBC CAGES - (Specials Page) available from DV Containers seem reasonable?
  2. i wouldn't be so sure, depends where it is but you will probably have to drop off what you need find somewhere to park and then come back to load up. Near where i live they won't take any "sensible decisions" on people parking, its your problem not theirs (is their attitude) Kevin
  3. My office is just down the road from there, i'd take a couple of boot loads of timber (Passat estate) for a bit of cash if you can be bothered (dont need it split but would need 1 m lengths)? Kev
  4. theres a guy in banstead on woodmansterne lane (help for heroes flag outside). https://www.google.co.uk/maps/search/farm+croydon+lane+banstead/@51.3350853,-0.1624283,236m/data=!3m1!1e3 sorry don't know the number, but close to tadworth and if you go to google streetview i think its called sunray farm.
  5. try shiply or a local grab company?
  6. where abouts are you based
  7. Build a Website - Squarespace these guys are really very good.
  8. "also check the fuel filter in the tanks not caught up and is out of the fuel when tank part empty" deffo worth checking this....
  9. Thanks Ray thats good to know. I'm going to get some poison and clear out the shed, that recipe sounds lethal, my neighbour suggested cement.... Shed needs a good tidy up so now I've got a good reason. I might just clean it up and then epoxy a plastic plate over the hole, nothing on ebay at the moment and these saws seem to hold their value even when kaput. Kev
  10. Filling my saw up with chain oil yesterday and it seemed to take more than normal.... Looked on the floor and there was a big puddle of oil. I've seen rats droppings in the shed for the last couple of weeks and they seem to have chewed through the bottom of the saw (I guess to get a the veg oil I was using for chain lube). Looks likes its going to need a few of the large plastic body parts and probably a new handle. So I think it might be a write off unless i can find one cheap with a seized motor.... Bit of an unexpected pain! https://plus.google.com/116875810835717209320/posts/RuQE992go9X
  11. Hi Phil, I'd be keen to take a few bits (not a huge amount) but happy to pay a bit for them? Kev
  12. lots of climbers use insulating tape (combinations of earth - green and yellow, and another colour). you deffo don't want to use a dremel on them. Kev
  13. I've got a husky mower (sv145) worst mower I've ever owned.... I hate it, poor build quality and materials (nuts and bolts rusted so its hard to access for service) meant to be self mulching but constantly stalls, just a horrible thing. I now only use my allen hover mower which cost me £40 about 6 years ago and is just fantastic. Kev
  14. we are onto buttercups now!
  15. try the bmc, if I remember right you get public liability with membership https://www.thebmc.co.uk/members-liability-insurance
  16. Another option would be to fix some "metal lugs" into the wood and then use some kind of uv adhesive to fix the glass to the tops of the lugs. I think Monkey Spunk aka Gorilla Glue might do it but it would look awful, its an expanding PU adhesive. Kev
  17. The tracked ride on and scissor lift ones are particularly useful, they seem to be 2k second hand and 3 k new but if you even need to lift into a skip the scissor function is great.
  18. hoop of nylon cord fixed to back of box then hung on tree? You could double up for safety. not damaging for tree and no tools required, quick install.

think Cider Vinegar can help a bit, worth a google. I did some looking a few years ago for my dad and he ended up having a spoon of cider vinegar every day and it slowly went away.
  20. £29 planer from lidl at the moment, might prove useful as well. I've used a belt sander which worked a treat on something similar followed by a orbital will finer grit paper. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Jon that would be great, let me know how and when (and how much!) Made some lovely tables and iPhone stands out of that yes Kev Sent from my Nexus 5 using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Jon, if Alex doesn't want the apple I'll take it from you? Sent from my Nexus 5 using Arbtalk mobile app
