  1. check servo pressures and working pressures before you adjust anything
  2. yep burns excellent but it has little or no value because of the hardwood myth we've done a pile of half metre logs this year out of our softwood and are selling the hardwood at a premium win win
  3. what does the bottle of irnbru do for the splitter?
  4. i wonder what makes them think that copper is a good thing to build stuff out of or has it just been badly interpreted into chinglish and it should have read proper internals
  5. top job wheres the leaf blower:thumbup:
  6. how many loads of chip did that equate to i always find it hard to guesstimate how much chip conifers produce
  7. wrong title it should have been stupid if they can get a crane in they could have got a high reach rig in there and most likely done it cheaper and far safer
  8. that seems very expensive and not very cost effective way of running a chipper learn to change the blades yourself
  9. This was a load of timber that we shifted back into a customers garden with our skid steer we couldn't justify the money for a boxer
  10. what do you think of the mulchers for your boxer are they easy to stall out we were thinking about building one with a petrol engine as the hydraulics on ours don't have enough flow
  11. that looks like quite an awkward machine to master
  12. loading shovel ab2000 or sweeney should have something big enough
  13. good to see a hired in machine getting used properly i would be worried about the angle that engines running at if its that bad you have got to anchor it perhaps its too steep
  14. echo ppt265 we have 2 and they've been pretty good
  15. sheared keyway due to loose nut timings out i would say
  16. remember to tun the tank pressurised to stop cavitation ,for excavators from memory for that amount of oil flow the minimum size of tank would be around 250 litres and that is with an efficient cooling package
  17. if you are on uneven ground i would rather be standing on the back of a skid steer than sitting in a tractor if it rolls over far easier to jump off the back off a skid steer than get out of a tractor skids are far more manoeuvrable than a tractor in confined spaces if you are mostly domestic i would reckon skid steer if its bigger jobs/forestry avant the vermeer isn't a lightweight tool either different horses for different courses the vermeer you can run a grinder off it as well i believe
  18. looks like a ping pong honda gx copy
  19. is 1.3 mm chain strong enough to cope with the power of a 550?
  20. it looks like a chain thats been sharpened with the rakers too high so the file guide keeps the file too high hence not enough hook on the cutter i would take the file out of the guide and re do it by hand
