  1. it sounds like when he turns it to start theres no power i think?

  3. poor earth or high resistance in a feed cable check the battery voltage on cranking if it goes below 10-11 volts it would point to a battery have you tried jump leads right on to the starter ?
  4. heres a spindle similar from a 35ton artic dumper that was sent over last friday from the isle of man to get repaired the thread was damaged when they screwed the nut off. it was m120 x 1.5mm pitch to get it off they had the multiplier at 6000 lb/ft and it wouldn't go so they cut the nut
  5. its not a bearing cap its where the shaft is weld onto the hub to tighten up the bearing i presume you have to remove the wheel take out the ring of bolts and remove the entire hub in the back of it i would expect to find an adjuster or a shim pack to preload it.is it on a driven axle as it could be chain drive like you get on the graders i would also expect the bogeys to be filled with oil so have something to catch it
  6. any bearing supplier should be able to dig that up easily
  7. when we got our hearth for our fireplace it came from a lab in a chemical plant and had acid rings on it so we put a belt sander on it and it came up spot on with the fine belts
  8. great minds think alike the stuff I've used for kindling was great it dries quick and splits hairy so it catches alight easy
  9. is there not a ball pressed into the outer shell in the bearing to stop rotation of the outer and it also stops you fitting the bearing the wrong way round
  10. can anybody give me torque settings and valve clearances for a gx390 thanks ours is smoking a lot and its getting looked at
  11. no they are harder to get the broken bolts out when you shear them off

  13. 550 quid for an alternator that sounds like a pisstake to me is it a kubota motor in it
  14. if you don't have a return to tank line you can fit a tee check valve and return it thru one of the direction hoses
  15. 2 on the ned are direction and the one on top is case drain
  16. can you post a pic of where you drilled it did you cut out the little bars as well
  17. i am taking mrs breezeblock out for dinner then to the pics then charm the pants off her as the kids are at her mothers
  18. i didn't realise they still made cherry bombs that takes me back about 20 yrs
