  9. approx 1 1/2 hours between getting cut and getting treated it sealed it up that good we ended up at the back of the queue i think if it was still pissing out we would have been taken a lot quicker all the nurse done was rinse it off with saline wiped then stitched him up clean as a whistle
  10. no surgery to remove the celox just cleaned out with saline and 5 stitches i knew it was bad when the blood was running out thats why it was applied whether it was life threatening or not i wasn't taking the risk at £20 a pack i feel it was well worth it i would urge others to carry it in their first aid kit
  11. my business partner had a close shave today with a new 550 cut right across the wrist heres the pics this is the first time we have had to use celox and i was a bit sceptical when i opened the pack i thought it was a pack of sawdust i had been sold but hey it works the saw wasn't even running it was sitting in the back of the chipper and he drew his wrist across the bar be careful chaps

  17. a 3 1/2 ton tipper with a splitter gearbox and an exhaust brake would be ideal
  18. your pumps goosed by the sounds of it
  19. 250 quid thats an ass reaming measure the dia of the shaft and try a company called bearing boys i by bearings for our grinders at about £10 each and thus usually inc delivery post a picture of said bearing just to confirm which type it is don't be put off by cheaper bearings as most grinders fail due to ingress of water dirt and impact and the usual one lack of grease which will destroy any bearing whether its £10 or £1000
  20. i use them also and theres another place in hamilton called servtech hydraulics that are very good
  21. diamond wheel on a 6inch bench grinder fully enclosed to keep the dust in the enclosure has a thick layer of grease inside it you just scrape it out every now and then to clean it and fill it back up works great and keeps all the crap inside
  22. remember and wear a mask as carbide is bad for you. get green teeth as well they are so much easier to sharpen you can even stand and drink tea while your doing it far better system
  23. and if your still worried about it put another line in the next tree
  24. buy a petrol one there won't be enough load on the engine on the unimog and it is a waste of engine hours
  25. copaslip and a torque wrench is what you need
