  1. be careful which bolts you are replacing with stainless steel as it has a lower tensile strength than most normal bolts
  2. we are now dealers for sany they start off at 8 ton and go up to 75ton if you want to go that big
  3. picked it up on friday and used it today so far not that impressed with it maybe too used to the 560
  4. loads of wallets an out of date packet of johnnys and a cinema gift card with £20 on it
  5. auto idle would be a good thing low coolant and high temp and reverse rollers
  6. we've got a 560 i was just looking for a saw thats a wee bit lighter hence going for 550

    ok chaps time for a new saw going to go for a new 550xpg the last one we had a couple of years back was a pile of crap are the new ones any better
  9. we use 700s on both our grinders ones 16hp and the other is 28hp and we sharpen them ourselves best thing we ever done was change to green teeth if you do go for genuine ones not the aftermarket as the head diameter is smaller on the non genuine ones and it wears the front of the shank

  13. yep it lies at west of scotland heavy haulage at ward park , heaviest advertising sign yet weighing in at a mere 252 tons you can se it for miles

  16. we hardly ever use arc welding now for plant repairs as its too slow and not any better than mig we have used it on everything from tin work up to 4" thick jaws
  17. to be fair the last one failed due to loading road planings with a grain bucket
  18. the front diffs are poop especially if you are loading heavy with them the last one i done the adjusters for the crown wheel were forced outwards as the thread was torn off and the crown wheel mashed up kerching its about 2k just for that one gear
  19. I've had a few on chinese generators that leak round about the crank cover check that the bolts are tight
  20. cut this off a beech tree is it worth owt I've seen small ones but never this size
  21. the wife says to me years ago about making stuff like that my reply was who's gonna buy that crap ,doh wrong again
  22. for hawthorn and beech we use a 560 with a finger bar bolted onto the side of the bar makes beech hedging and hawthorn a doodle i made the finger bar from a ryjobi hedge trimmer 2 bolts on easy peasy
  23. filled in the holes and i have lifted the feeder up higher and the holes haven't been remade
