  7. its still to get a coat of paint it didn't work out just as cheap as i had hoped as the engine that came with the pump was dusted thru and needed to get rebuilt but I'm still happy with it this time I've went for speed rather than power hence the smaller did cylinder the first day we used it we were doing a bag in 25 mins
  8. heres a picture of my new splitter 13hp motor variable height axe and log lifter i think the cylinder is about 10ton quicker than my old one and ideal for 1/2 m logs

  13. we got our grab from riko as well but i made my own boom for it the grab doesn't have enough closing pressure for large rings so i cut serrations in the flat pieces at the end and tweaked up the relief valve a bit on the machine it could really do with a bigger cylinder on the ram i might weld some hardened pins on the ends to grip timber better oh and i twisted it when we were doing a lime tree but 20 mins with a portapower and it was sorted i think i was a bit too ambitious with it but good grabs for the money

  17. tool station only had one trap in stock and screwfix weren't much better so I've screwed the trap to a plank and baited with peanut butter fingers crossed i wonder if the old 281 with 20:1 mix would flush them out or converting the old ryjobi hedge trimmer to a smoker
