  1. the only way i could see doing this would be to take a tapping off each side of the a + b side of the valve thru a double tee non return valve and feed this thru a pressure reg valve set 25 bar below the required pressure then thru another non return valve into the ls port on the tractor pump
  2. my christmas project was building the mulcher attachment for our mini skid steer its been out and tested and it works pretty good i need to do a video its fitted with a gx390 and i wasn't sure how much power was needed but 13hp seems to be ok
  3. i would go with the dealer for that kind of money i don't think 2k is out of this world price wise as said getting involved in hydraulics is very expensive the last valve block i bought was about 800-850 but it might be worthwhile trying other places
  4. 560 xp or xpg 8 pin sprocket 15" bar best saw I've ever used for general stuff
  5. motors are not usually closed centre but what you will find is the control valve and the pump its matched to will be. the stuff that i do at work on material handlers are because the control valve is combined with the motor and its connected straight onto the pumps
  6. whitehouse hydraulics google them port glasgow
  7. if you go this route prepare to empty your wallet as the 2 systems are not compatible your john deere power thing is a tandem gear pump and the ls control is for swash plate piston pumps with a closed centre valve. i presume the winch is just a motor with a pilot offshoot for the brake i would think that it would be easier just to replace the control for this with an open centre type proportional valve remember with a gear pump you can't get more flow than the pump can produce with the available engine power with ls you can as the pressure goes up you can reduce the flow to relieve the load on the engine . also why bother with proportional i take it its for dragging out timber is such a fine control required as this adds to expense and complexity
  8. on load sensing the primary relief valve controls the ls signal it is completely different to open centre gear pump systems like most of our stuff uses far more advanced to save fuel and maximise engine power use
  9. are you sure that its load sensing as this requires a load sensing line to go back to the pump to control the flow
  10. gotta be a scam 1 poor picture and low feedback from more than a year ago deffo a scam
  11. for work fitting a mud wing on a 30t dumper then off home to continue building mini mulcher for our skid steer merry xmas everybody
  12. depends on the amount of pressure above 15t i would go for 10x6 but even this is probably overkill
  13. i just picked up an unfinished project off ebay with 13hp engine all complete just needs hoses and oil and its good to go but i decided to change it and now its getting fitted with a log lift and hyd variable height axe and getting a bit more of a rejig to make it more useable
  14. can you push down with the cutter head on these to lift the front wheels
  15. I've seen this done on rotors to cut down on noise
  16. have you stopped wearing shorts on mull yet
  17. clutch bearing perhaps try greasing it
  18. haha i work for terex and i didn't know they done stump grinders
  19. ha ha branching out classic
  20. i wanted to see it going thru a bagging machine
  21. i have a windows laptop for my work what a turd i left my van in a hotel car park in barnsley for four days with the laptop sitting on the passenger side seat and it was still there when i went back nuff said
  22. my wife says i overcook them 25 mins is seemingly too long
  23. I've seen the damage a propshaft done on a 100t dumper that was spectacular total carnage in seconds took the back off the gearbox tore the mounts out the chassis knocked off the hydraulic tank dumped brake cooling oil and dented the hoist cylinders i think it was about 50k to repair
  24. i can boil an egg does that count
  25. i would reckon that if its easy to light you should be flog it easy
