  1. Thank you for the input guys, much appreciated.
  2. On the <10t machines you can't go wrong with the Takeuchi or Kubota, also check out the Hyundais they are a proper dark horse in the market, reasonable purchase price, second to none back up and a decent machine. Never rated the JCB machines always seemed a step behind the rest. Cheers
  3. Yes it's PTO driven, will run it off my Mog.
  4. Evening all, Any reviews, advice or general tips on the above? Thanks in advance.
  5. I burn it a lot at the moment as its all I have. Plenty of heat off it at around 16% moisture it's been felled for 5 years though!
  6. Morning, I had golfers elbow a few times over the last 4/5 years, not nice! Get a compression strap similar to a belt normally they are Velcro fastened and wear it at the top of the forearm/ just below the elbow joint. Pain instantly goes away and you can continue like nothing is wrong. They are on ebay for about £10. Another guy at the gym had the same problem and was amazed how quickly it sorted it out. All The Best
  7. Hi all, Am after a log splitter for my Mog, not going to be flat out daily just want something to take over from the axe. Have looked at Oxdale and the rock machinery ones just wondered what your thoughts are? Many Thanks Tim
  8. It's a Liebherr 984 with 64(ish)m telescopic demo arm, only 2 of these in the uk, plus 2 Hitachi 1200's roughly the same spec. Great if you have the work for it!
  9. Unless you are or have an AP (appointed person) ticket the crane will be on a contract lift hire, they will supply all documents needed- lift plan, method and all risk assessments. You may need a few site specific ones for your works with the crane though such as working around it, exclusion zones under lifts etc....
  10. Hi everyone, first post! Will have approx 10t of Horse chestnut cut to cord on a site in Hampstead over the next few weeks. Any interest? Too far to haul home. Thanks Tim
