  1. absolutely excellent for dynamic lowering as well and they are quite supple!
  2. Just to throw my two pennyworth in..... One of the attractions of this site is that it is comprised of rich and colourful characters who engage to a greater or lesser degree with enthusiasm sharing of their knowledge. Once the Mendip language barrier is overcome John, to me, comes across as a genuine helpful, if a little over exuberant sole. I mostly enjoy his posts ( once deciphered) and feel he adds a certain richness and diversity not provided my many of the members on here in which in include myself. He adds a dimension that is fun light hearted, and could be interpreted as bordering on blatantly obvious questions, which may irritate some but does it really matter that much? I for one, although I haven't spoke to him that much, enjoy his input and value his contributions however regular they may be. For all the questions that john asks I am sure if someone else was seeking an answer he could provide he would not hesitate to assist. Sadly I do feel that there are those who frequent this forum who can proffer a Holier than though" persona. John is certainly not from that contingent. So chalk me up for a vote in johns party! ( Nearly said corner there which may have lead to some Anti boxing derived negativity) By the way John a 47kg of propane direct from Calor here in Bury id £62.00! All the best Tony-

  9. Dormer are good bits. Dare I suggest its more drill abuse? ( which most of us do to "get the job done") Cost, as with everything, is a pertinent factor. If you buy cheap drills that's what you end up with! Regards Tony
  10. Woodguy, a small cheap 2wd tractor and a s/h ag mower will sort you out and if you have to go down the haymaking route you only need a haybob and you kitted out, As has been said all these can be picked up at reasonable cost. Cheers Tony

  16. . I can't help thinking there is a future for "bounty hunter" types specialising in recovery of goods using whatever means necessary! Although of course the police would be super quick to point out any illegality!
  17. No words can express your loss or quell your grief. I hope it gets better and easier for you to bear as the days pass. My Sincere Condolences and warmest wishes. Tony

  20. Jim. Most palisade is 2.7m sections. Can you not just use a line and get it as level as practical? or level first with digger? I would put up posts and cross rails and fix pailings the day after myself. Good luck with it I am sure it will be fine Tony
