  1. I am sure that some people attract biteing insects more than others, I heard that eating garlic keeps them at bay, but I don't buy it, I eat a lot and get bitten a lot. Anyone found a good method of fly/mozzy control?
  2. Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast. Work tidy, if you mess up/brake something tell someone, and what Hodge said! Respect everything you come into contact with while at work, including the customer and their property.
  3. So, do we know who the lucky winner is yet? I have just gone out and purchased one, as I couldn't wait any longer!!
  4. Got bitten between the shoulder blades last week when logging up, went straight through my t shirt, bloody hurt for days!
  5. I used to get one shave from a mach 3 blade, so use a whal commercial hair clipper plug in job, the ones barbers and hair dressers use, I use it on my bonce once a month with a grade 4 (just the sides) and me mush, once a week or so without the grader on, just leaves a stubble.
  6. Its that easy! to be fair, i did it before your post went up. Your review makes for good reading and if I don't win I think one of these will be finding its way into my armory. Good luck to all those that enter, but I hope my luck is in!
  7. Stihl BG 86, Radmoore and tucker, should deliver to you being in Devon.
  8. I see there is another comp on now to win a lecky topper from husky, just thought I would share.
  9. A portable cabstan winch may be an idea? I think jonsie sells them.
  10. Thats a great looking set up Paul, what did you think to the lecky saw? I am thinking of getting a t540xp very soon, but like the idea of the battery saw, I prefered it when the only choice was a 200t!
  11. t435 has a bad reputation, ms150t may be an option, or as spud says a 200t second hand. I have just decided to upgrade from my 192t, as it lacks a bit of umph for take downs, but it still does the job, will be getting a t540xp as they have a bigger set!
  12. I think that the statement was only released online? I didn't get a letter from the dealer about my one, as I doubt they send them, but to assume that all climbers use the net, or would go looking online for this info, is an assumption too far imo, dealers know who has purchased them, that info should be passed to petzl and letters sent imo.
  13. Good to see you back Sir, looking forward to lots of posts and pictures, I loved the last thread and hope this will be as good if not better!
  14. Any news on the winner, or any of the ideas put forward? I hope my chainsaw shaped urinal makes it into production, If it does can I have a 066 please?
  15. I have just ordered a pair of these 2x1000m BT Interphone Bluetooth Motorcycle Motorbike Helmet Intercom Headset SET | eBay They will be a cheap way for me to discover the new world of blue tooth........... I hope?
  16. So just to be clear, if i were to purchase a pair tomorrow, I could use them without the need of anything other than batteries? That sounds ideal!
  17. I am looking at getting something like these, but I am not very technicaly minded with gadgets and the like. When you have blue tooth sets, do you need a bluetooth phone to act as the "radio", or does it have a transmitter and reciever in it and no need for a fancy mobile? Sorry if this sounds dense, but I have been living under a rock for 10 years and technology has passed me by!
  18. 24 meters, if the door and window lintel are 2m, standard window or door width is 1m in france, so mark a piece of paper and gauge from that, none of you lot go to sniper school?
