When you see those figures it really makes you wonder whose got it right ??

Information on the Unite plans are in the public domain. A strike ballot is currently taking place of over 2500 UNITE tanker drivers, embracing 90% of drivers supplying petrol to UK forecourts; The dispute relates to UNITE seeking collective bargaining for all tanker drivers on pensions, pay, training and H&S; If there is a positive vote for a strike, the earliest this could commence is 2nd April, but most likely from 10th April; Strike action is not inevitable and the scale and nature of it is not clear. However, if strike action does occur it could cause major disruption across the country, with the majority of the larger fuel terminals impacted for more than a week. They have said it may come to nothing, part of me feels that if was a protest over the price of fuel it may be more justifable

Went to a Morrisons today to fill up the transit , a guy came out to look and went back inside. I went to pay for the £90 of diesel and they asked how many cans id filled up , i said none just the van . They thought id been filling cans ? Anyway they have been told by the local council only to allow customers to fill a max of 5 litres of fuel in a can unless you have a permit or license from the local council, which will no doubt cost money! So i asked them if they thought id been filling cans why had they just let me fill up £90 worth, to which they replied they couldnt of sold it to me as i had no permit and i would of had to leave the cans there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just read this i feel that ive read the last 2 years of my life, been thinking of alternative methods glad too hear it worked for you

We etch ours on the oil tank with a dremel then go over it in permanent pen to make it stand out

No puwer dosent require serial numbers but surely you need to identify reverlent equipment so why not use serial number and your own identifcation, lets make it easier for ourselves and harder for them

So you cant write down serial numbers of a saw - not being harsh but think of bigger picture you have legal responsbilty to do puwer and its so easy even for your subbie - PM if you want a form

Surely as part of PUWER all power equipment must be checked weekly. We produce a checklist with all serial numbers on for all saws that have to done weekly- each saw is assigned to a member of staff and they are resposible for it and have to check it thus we have all serial numbers noted. All companies can do this (and legally have to) easily done with XL spreadsheets whatever the size!

Best chemical ive ever seen (and ive sprayed miles of it ) is Tordon or Tordon X it kills only the weed and not anything its growing through such as grass etc

About 10 cm and still coming - sledging in the morning with 2 very excited little arbs on a proper wooden sledge
