    Ldv

Has anyone else noticed the symbol/ logo - if you take the ldv away your left with a skip - go on have a look
  7. I think im correct in saying that a while back if you got Safecontractor you got CHAS automatically but CHAS pulled out of the scheme as they are joined another affilation scheme that safecontractor didnt if that makes sense?) We have both CHAS and Safecontractor (long story ) as we have to be accredited for CHAS for one of our contracts. Out of the two i thinK CHAS is recognised by more clients, though if another quote is cheaper H&S doesnt seem to be an issue ! Another concern i have with the schemes is that all you ahve to do is send off all your information required to the relevent accreditors - they never visit you or your premises.

    Makitas

Has anyone used the small Makita top handles? Ive seen them for less than £200 and they are so light.
  12. When we first startedwe had the same dilemma and went down the pto route as it gives you more versatility in what you can do with the same amount of cash. We bought a second hand carrero tractor and a new timberwolf 6" pto chipper which was an excellent compo. We then added a 4 ton pto winch and a small forwarding trailer which you cant do with a tracked chipper !
  13. Did think about logging it up and making a big jigsaw puzzle
  14. On a site we were working on in Coventry
  15. We bought a petrol Woodline multipla 10 from fuelwood 9 years ago and its fantastic, never had any problems and its been out in all weathers. Everyone whos seen it or used it says it wipes the floor of anything else out there -tractor hydraulic models included
