  1. I was going to say that but seemed to have rattled a hornets nest with this post so just left it
  2. After leaving our tractor and pto chipper parked on a pig farm overnight we were somewhat dismayed in the morning to have the farmer tell us how well our chipper had chipped up his 3 dead pigs
  3. I was merely trying to raise a point about top handled saw use , i do not mean to discredit anyone as ive not named nor would i . I appologise if thats how you feel and perhaps should not of used picture though its only to show my point .
  4. Okay we can all see faults in others as we can all see different ways of doing the work, what do you do ignore it , bring it to their attention , discuss it on a furum . Does anyone know the answer to the top handle question is it law or is merely advise ( is it an urban myth that someone got fined £2000 for using a top handle saw on the ground ?)

  10. Fair enough but doesnt HSE 402/2001 say no this in this country , as does AFAG 308. Is it really best practise ?

    Thanks all thats really helpful , as for the 10 year bit ive gone into with my mate who runs tank driving days hance the space etc.

    After many conversations and meetings we have finally been given 10 year lease for an old coal board yard with concrete hard standing ( 28 acres all told inc woodland ) I know there have been loads of posts on here re planning etc but can anyone tell me what needs to be done and with who so i can get it right first time

  18. My old 110 landy used to blow heater plugs all the time , after one bloody long wet day felling it blew them again. So in my frustration after removing yet another one i threw it on to the dashboard which bounced up and shattered the windscreen much to the amusement of the lads inside

  22. Love the APF we always go , bit disappointed with the lack of working demos such as harvestors etc and it seemed shorter then prevous years. Its always good to see folk youve not seen for years:thumbup:
