  4. to be honest "mate " if you get anyone suitable i would be surprised as your attitude stinks and totally uncalled for.I am an employer myself for the record and know there are some not so good employees but how you expect to gain respect and therefor get the best out of someone with an advert like that beggars me oh i have been in the industry 30 years this still doesnt make it ok to be an a-- hole:thumbdown:
  5. thanks guys the client is not in a rush he would rather wait for the right time which the opinion generally seems to be summer so i will wait and do the beech now
  6. having never touched a walnut tree is it too late to reduce this also a copper beech .the client has just bought this property and invited us to look at it .i should add he wanted "quite abit off" but am very cautious as it is a prominent tree any advice on how much can be taken off at this time of year welcome
  7. this is getting very confusing you need to know exactly what you are getting and for how much ask price per ton add on delivery and thats it no cubes ibc s etc or you will get robbed in my cautious opinion !!!!
  8. you need to find the lowest part of the garden and see if there are any drains in it or any where to get the water away then run 4 inch slotted pipe 18 inch deep in a herring bone formation. top each slot up with gravel then soil last 3 inch.manure etc will improve soil structure but will not remove water infact quite the opposite as it holds moisture thats why it works on dry ground.
  9. There is a measure called(TUPE) look it up on google it basically protects employees and keeps your conditions etc this may not apply but well worth a look
  10. got one on our six ton jcb use it all the time would not be with out it digbits supply them

  13. what volume are you taking out as numerous trips over lawn will wreck it unless dry this will be a costly repair bill compared to value of wood . personally i would wait and hammer it in the autumn .

  21. Has anyone tried aspen in moto x bikes what if any are the results
  22. We have a gr2100 glide steer which is 4x4 but is not fan assisted?this cuts lawns or rougher areas and as said diesel is superb, parts though are an arm and leg then some I have written before that at 600 hours the pto clutch broke £600 for parts alone steering cables break regular as well but it does make a very good job around 7k
  23. if you can fit the rings in the trough they will split im thinking they would need ripped in half for weight if nothing else
  24. that was where we bought ours after seeing many others at various shows you mention the hold down arm being good which it is the only thing you have to watch is when you bring log along to the stop if the second timber is bigger than the one to be cut it cant hold it so you must back it off slightly and hold the first or you will jam the blade this is a minor point but one that is quite important .this becomes second nature and is just part of the operation once you know what you are watching for only nobody told me
