  1. You'd think given what they cost they'd have enough machines for demos for prospective buyers!
  2. I'll be interested in changing to a pivoting version, perhaps a different teeth system that's quicker to change. I guess you can't get it to self drive as well for close to the current price!?
  3. I did 😉 I redo it now and then as got a silly quote to do my first one so taught myself! Keeps me ahead of the competition as I can update it without paying to have it redone and not stuck with the cut and paste ones from vistaprint or wherever! I'll look into the sig link, only just finished it a few days ago so haven't had time to do the seo stuff. Anyone else who wants to check it out its http://www.originaltreeservices.co.uk Comments welcome
  4. Get the phone number in big and at the top, who's gonna read all the text to find a phone number? Make it easy to people to contact you
  5. With internet speeds like they are you can go much bigger files and still get loaded quickly! The latest version of my site has a video playing and still doesn't take too long
  6. Could do with your phone number on the front page and the photo you have there is really low def and fuzzy
  7. Agreed, find your own work at at least double your income, that kind of money you should be able to get with a hedge cutter and a bicycle!
  8. Isn't is funny we're all happy to see 110p or so a litre of unleaded but when it was 80p odd there were fuel protests!
  9. Around 200 for a harness delivered from the U.S. Is pretty good I think
  10. https://www.treestuff.com/store/catalog.asp?item=1088#detail These guys deliver to the UK at a reasonable price
  11. Can't see you selling many, never heard of them and googles not much more help!
  12. With this being arbtalk we are duty bound to point out that the only chainsaw you should use is a husky 560xp and the stihl 261 has a bearing problem
  13. Good machine got one the week they came out with no issues, skipped the 4 mix stuff all together! There are some 90s knocking about but why buy one when this is cheaper and a proper 2 stroke
  14. I personally prefer the ms261 having had one stolen and now got a 550xp, found it nicer to use and felt more solid also had problems starting the 550 when its hot, but each to their own
  15. I can't understand it myself, got a 2001 ms340 very well used and never been greased in its life with no problems apart from usual repairs. How have they gone from saws like that to ones that have parts that last weeks
  16. Never greased a needle bearing in all my life! Never had a problem
  17. Had that once, phoned the landlord and he was still in bed elsewhere as was supposed to be letting us in. 😡The job never did get done but luckily one of the neighbours spotted us and wanted a quote for some work, turned out to be a mornings work, did it cheap to guarantee a yes and did it there and then
  18. Nope £94, I agree the 365 is a good buy
  19. I'm a tax payer and I'd pay for the bullets
  20. We used to have an old exenco that had that connection, defiantly banged around more than ball hitches but wouldn't have trusted one as much due the the weight of the machine
  21. Plus the import charges, may as well just go buy one locally and get the support of it breaks?
  22. No chance, two man lift to get mine up onto back of a transit, have managed it with ramps solo but not easy so won't do it if can avoid it
  23. Couple of pics of a stump (followed by a the hole left) I've just done first taken at 10:34 the second at 10:48, cypress tree I felled yesterday to give anyone who's interested an idea of its real capabilities
  24. Gonna keep it a while but intend to get something bigger and self driven in the future. A multitip conversion would take about 8 sets of teeth to break even which would take 2-3 years for me so doesn't make sense right now with more important things to spend on
  25. None that I've found but haven't looked too hard, the green teeth ones look like they might but haven't got the measurements to check. I recently enquired with multitip about converting as takes ages to change the teeth but comes in at about £400 plus vat so not a goer!
