  1. It's really good to have a go at, went on one a few years back. Its ridiculously expensive though around £40 for five minutes
  2. I find the 94 surprisingly good on fuel, not sure on the tank size but I get alot done per fill
  3. Try one of these alarms https://www.ultrasecuredirect.com/wireless-indoor-alarms/shed-garage-alarms/battery-gsm-wireless-ultrapir-alarm/battery-ultrapir-gsm-alarm-007-0360-p752.html Set it to silent, hidden and have it phone you up. Takes 30 seconds from detection to the phone ringing
  4. Km94 works well for me, run hedgecutter and chainsaw ends on it. Good value at around the £270 mark
  5. Lol thread sorry, stupid auto correct, just meant the offer probably expired?
  6. As soon as the clocks change this kicks off, will be surprised if there's not more posts like this in the next few days and weeks 😡 hope you get some luck
  7. On pc as well, defo gonna get a copy of this!
  8. Go for the 94, I find the 56 vibrates a lot more and there's not much in the price. I use the hedgecutter and chainsaw ends for my 94 and it has no problems
  9. Shocking aren't they! Oregon one is no better either
  10. Brilliant advice if you happen to be running a t540xp with original bar in it!
  11. I'd offer to buy it off you but sounds like a Friday afternoon special!
  12. £60 and a bit of paint, job done 😀 got a different transit with metal sides and roof now, but can't fault a bit of plywood to get going with
  13. I think the the guy who started the treebay page lost interest so its unmoderated now, there's a fair bit of stolen stuff on there (saw a predator 360 grinder on there yesterday for £2500 or so...) and I personally would never buy anything from there that's to be posted as there's no comeback like eBay offers. That said I did buy my chipper from that page (after checking the guy ran a proper company and checking serial numbers) I don't get why there are posts on there asking questions like that one as its a selling page, there's more appropriate pages like the unofficial arbtalk one that is properly moderated. Idiots like that need locking up though
  14. Most sensible post I've seen in a while

I think the 'expert' must operate near me, just been to look at a small pruning job, three small apples, two hours max allowing a couple of tea breaks, they been quoted £550 or £450 for cash! Got the number from a garden centre...

I'm very tempted to complain to the bbc about wasting our money. They didn't even have to quote 2k the old girl just said I've got 2000 cash here you go
  18. There's a new invention called a blower, cuts down that hour to 5 minutes 😉
  19. .. Can you get it around a McDonald's drive thru
  20. I found one just after your Facebook post, determined to find the other two later and win!

Thing is they always have a new transit and look the business which is why people let them in, but very rarely do I see them with a chipper, it's always conifer thrown on and loosely tied down ready to be left in the nearest lane

Nope I agree but equally if people think it's gonna cost them a weeks wages to have someone spend a couple of hours trimming their hedge they're not gonna phone for a quote in the first place
