  1. Yes, liking the simple but robust zetor.
  2. Yes its straight off the A1, close to bernard castle. Its a nice little village from what i remember of it. Worked up there some years back.
  3. Thanks for the info everyone. I think when i get round to it, i will plump for the 94 model.
  4. Is the 94 2 stroke or 4 stroke ?
  5. Yes i reckon that's a decent price. But pm shavey, i'm sure he would match it.
  6. Hi Ian, i've got the ps350. Had it a few months now and its a cracking little saw:thumbup:. I was planning to get the ps320 from shavey over the summer with a carving bar on it, but had to put my plans back, but will be contacting him soon to order the saw. Sorry no idea about aspen. H.
  7. Hi Chaps I have bee looking round for a new split shaft strimmer, brushcutter. For years i have been putting up with bloody ryobi / homelite. Between us, me and my dad have 3 of these things and we are both ready to launch them. Anyway, i was looking round a stihl dealership yesterday and came across the km56 power head. Are these any good ? i know the attachments are at least another £100 odd, but if they are a good buy then i wont mind. I know there are more powerful units, but it will only be used for strimming around the allotments, and an odd occasion around the church yard. So, are these any good, or whats the alternatives, for a similar price. It must be split shaft. I dont mind what manufacturer it is as long as it works. Also as daft as it is, has anyone got good things to say about the mculloch strimmer. Sorry for rambling. H.
  8. Machine mart do a small petrol splitter for about £600. Dont know how good it is though. Also had a quick look on the oxdale site, i quite fancied the look of the towable one,(RT400).
  9. Really like that photo. Is that your tractor ?
  10. I'd go with a dolly from shavey. ive only ran dolly or maks for the last 5 years. Carnt fault them. Lovely saws to use.
  11. Speak to andrew (shavey) about dolmar, he's a top bloke. He also had a big solo for sale i think. That looked a beast.
  12. the toyota dyna, is a nice truck. Know plenty with them.
  13. Get up, stretch, then a shower every morning without fail. Cuppa tea whilst getting dressed then outa door. Hopefully if i'm up early enough, then either a boiled egg sandwich, or if i'm lucky and have time, then scrambled egg on toast.
  14. Hi john, how would you compare the echo to the dolmar, which one has the edge, or are they both as equal to one another.
  15. I have often wondered about a smallish tractor, with a load of implements to go with it. Therefore you can cover a whole host of jobs and be more versatile.
  16. Either a little suzuki jimny/sj or berlingo van/c15 pull a small trailer. wouldnt hesitate to buy a mcculloch chainsaw, or makita/dolmar if possible. Ryobi kombi system Dont climb, so nowt to worry about there. Any brash, load on trailer, bring it back to ours and burn. Only hire chipper if needed. Might be a lot of work, but hard work never hurt anyone and it gets you places.
  17. My dad has a husky 135 and its a decent little saw, bit of a sod to start sometimes but cuts well. But I have a little dolmar ps35 ( from shavey) and its beats the husky hands down. Starts first pull everytime, brilliant in the cut, nimble, need i go on. Dolmar every time for me. In fact, its all i own.
  18. i have downloaded libre with no problems. Have had a quick scan through it, and it seems very simple to use. Time will tell, but pleased with what i have seen so far.
  19. I love my wellies in winter. Never in summer though. Like someone else said, try before you buy, then fit insoles. Two pairs of thick socks and away you go. I have the oregon branded ones.
  20. dont even think about mine. they're probably boring, in bit like me then.
  21. cheers for the replies. I think i'm going to have a deeper look at libre tomorrow, and if i like it then i'll trial it for a bit.
  22. Hi all, due to me starting college, i need an office suite on my computer. However i dont like the idea of continually having to pay to keep microsoft office on my computer. I got told by a techy geek at work about an office suite called libre office. He highly recommends it. Says its fully compatable with microsoft office and above all its free. Just wondering if anybody on here has heard of it or uses it. Or is there something else thats just as good. cheers.
  23. Brilliant timing. Today i got given a presentation to write up and present on powerpoint on ' how construction is causing the deforestation of the worlds forests ' any pointers please.
  24. i have my allotment, which to be honest if it wasnt for my dad, would be permanently overgrown. i like to get out on the mountain bike, use kettlebells 3 times a week, and still looking to find a decent karate / boxing club to go to now and then. Hoping my wife treats me to an inflatable kayak for xmas. White noise. i wish i had a neighbour like yours, sounds like pure old fashioned fun to me, and how things should be.
  25. Bloody hell, thats brilliant. I really like that. I love seeing animals carved into that type senario. You ought to be proud of that. How much time and effort went into it.
