  1. Bet your getting shafted for that, ranger gearboxes in good nick are like hens teeth
  2. Moving my strop to the left side was one of the best moves ever, simple but effective, I use an old carabiner with a sticky gate as a Caritool can have it open or shut depending what s needed
  3. Everyone loves a 395 on a short bar! Nice work
  4. Be a shame if the quality s dropped, we've got a Morso squirrel and its te dogs bollox
  5. It's like when I go looking at jobs, "that trees riddled with honey fungus and will definitely fall and squash a bus full of orphans and nuns". There are thieving money grabbing toe rags in every sector, which is why word of mouth is so important, the garage I go to I trust implicitly, big dealerships not so much
  6. That's the problem, every one bangs on about how desperate they are for wood for whatever and when it comes down to it you often get messed about. Which is not what you need when you've invested x amount in plant to get the job done on the assumption that someone's coming for the timber.
  7. Crane, crane, crane, crane. So much smoother and efficient, not on spikes with a stupid big saw all day, crane out a load of leyllandi a few weeks back, crane was the best £500 I've ever spent.
  8. Yep, I'll have em, how do you want paying?
  9. Mexican narco baron
  10. Out of interest how did you manage to do that?
  11. Tbh they are rubbish with dead stuff, just rattles about and blunts the blades rapidly
  12. Didn't know you were a hairdresser Jon
  13. Ime the l200 s have always been one of the worst for guzzling diesel, 2000 ish models were awful
  14. Aye, at least he does what he says on the tin, ( good or bad depending on your view point). Going to make politics more interesting whichever way you lean, polar opposite to the Etonian massiv
  15. Yes, he's based between Frome and Trowbridge
  16. Might sell mine (cs100 and trailer) if your interested.
  17. I converted a motorbike trailer for mine, works well
  18. Yes it does
  19. Yes definitely , the tree had been in decline for past 5 years, not sure what we are going to replace it with yet
  20. Beech we took down to 25ft last year, customer was going to have it carved but changed mind so out it comes. Was going to be milled but didn't realise extent of decay until it was on the deck
  21. I watched that when it was on telly, hideous. I hate and fear dentists, I have no pain at the mo and I'm convinced I'm about to open up a can of worms and intense suffering when they start prodding about
  22. I'm going next weds, first time in 19 years, it's going to be a horror show.
  23. What has got me is the massive turn around by the right wing press, last week refugees were scum, this week the sun is fund raising for them. One photo and a social media reaction and they've all become philanthropic bastions of the oppressed. I respect that everyone has their views on here and that's their right, though often polar opposites. So how do the more right leaning members feel about their media voices changing the tune? No disrespect to anyone but I find it staggering.
  24. Tbh it would be pretty hard to get the gap any smaller without the blades catching the anvil, what do you mean by bigger stuff,3"plus? Dead stuff won't go through that well either ime
  25. Why, did they steal your sweets?
