  1. Honestly I couldn't be without mine now, don't use it for small/medium trees but anything resembling long multiple spikeless ascents it goes on
  2. My Bedfords gear box came from them
  3. Since owning a pantin and an Ms 150 I've had no bother at all, up until that point it was a running niggle
  4. Mine used to oil sporadically, but it's been fine for past 6 months
  5. Not yet, too busy at the mo, doin tree surveys and climbing inspections there at end of month
  6. It's not a bad price that Jon , you might save a pound or two ringing around endlessly but you might not
  7. The beauty of the cs 100 is its ability to be manhandled pretty much anywhere, putting a heavy diesel lump is going to make it less shiftable, keep it as is and buy a diesel road tow IMO
  8. Ooh that's let the light in etc etc. nice work
  9. I reckon you've won bigot of the year at the 2015 arb talk awards, and you've beaten off some pretty stiff competition
  10. Yep, those views have no place on here, or anywhere IMO
  11. Hmm, so we haven't colonised / been immigrants to other countries for hundreds of years? We went to those countries for our own benefit, and took what we wanted, same old same old
  12. Nigel farage said it so it must be true
  13. We exploited a lot of nations and their people to get where we are today, now people in those nations aspire to what we have, just reaping what we've sown
  14. You gonna fit the switch on one of your pumps egg? Make sure you film it in action
  15. I say gold my missus reckons bright yellow vomit. I'd have ripped eggs arm off on that deal, any self respecting chap needs a bmx
  16. And it's gold
  17. I bought a 1.1 saxo petrol for picking my daughter up ( miles away) and general stuff, it's ace. Also I look like the badman when I'm doing burn outs in the one stop car park.
  18. Apparently male wrens make 6 or 7 nests to present to their lucky mate to choose, and we thought we had a hard time.
  19. Not for long I fear, he was saying on the news that he might run for leader again in September, which is nice.
  20. Although we are all banging the same heads against the same people, on the subject of cheating the system surely tax avoidance is shafting the economy just as perniciously as Mr 50 kids and his flat screen telly (as seen on channel 5 and read about in the sun). Anyway stihl or husky, which is best. And can I run my fiesta on red diesel cos I'm a tree surgeon.
  21. Yes, that proper winds me up, that is an example of those that feel entitled, however hopefully that is only a tiny percentage of total appointments.
  22. Milk of human kindness really flows out of you eh?
  23. Seriously? Would you prefer a USA style health service? So if you break your leg you stoically soldier on with stiff upper lip rather than turn to what should be our proudest institution.
  24. As I said they all balls up sooner or later,! Did your business boom around that time? I know a lot of old tree surgeons that had a ball over that period
  25. But if you had to through no fault of your own I don't think you should be treated as some sort of social leper, I'm fortunate enough to be able to afford sickness/accident insurance, but I don't think any less of someone that would have to rely fully on the safety net we have in this fantastic country
