  1. I can't believe that you haven't entirely agreed with all my views over the years... The only time I miss having a TV is when the Test Cricket is on, possibly the boxing, I've lost interest in football and never been one to watch films. Don't get me wrong I'll go to the pub to watch sporting events but I couldn't justify having a TV and paying Sky or whoever.
  2. Bargain!, Where do I sign up?, £3,999.00 for the TV, £320 accidental damage, £44.90 for the wall mount, and they'll take my old TV away for 15 quid.
  3. £4K for a TV? The worlds gone mad! Turn the wireless on or watch what you need to watch on a tablet.
  4. Fag packet maths, £150/month for Sky if you want the full package plus £150/year for a TV license that's £1950/year to watch TV, considering most folk are out at work 9 hours plus/day and in bed 7-8 hours each day that's a lot of money, each to their own mind.
  5. £150/month!? I could feed myself for a month for that money if I went carefully. @AHPP will have a heart attack when he reads this.
  6. Not a problem, I've banked it mind. On a serious note, how much does Sky TV cost, I guess there is different contracts like mobile phones, how much does a TV license cost?
  7. Got a part time one, why would that matter? If she's around here we do that strange thing... talk to each other.
  8. I choose not to have a TV, why would I want or need one?
  9. You could take my approach Les, don't own a TV.
  10. Ya silly old sod, if you aren't any good at fighting get good at running. Hope you recover quickly mate.
  11. Most disappointing!? I'm sure there are much better ways of expressing the feeling.
  12. Sludge goes through reception works, if those works go out of compliance sludge that should go to land that grows crops for human consumption goes through the process again, until it is compliant.
  13. I very much doubt my mate Stubby could raise the gallop these days.
  14. Correct.
  15. Hope your boss doesn't know you're tossing it off, he'd have to report you else. Bit like sitting round in vans...
  16. One man bands not being VAT registered, whatever next!
  17. I know that to be wrong for sure.
  18. I'm getting out of my depth now, the former Mrs Egg would know more. I didn't think untreated sludge could go to ground lawfully?
  19. How a lot of small farmer/tanker owners do it.
  20. Sorry! Septic Tank De-sludging Charges 2018 - 2019 - Scottish Water WWW.SCOTTISHWATER.CO.UK thats bleeding expensive mind.
  21. What's a baby shower?
  22. You are correct Andrew. The bigger question is why is anyone carting waste water/sewage 150 miles, surely there is a works closer that can take both domestic ww and sludge? Any big town works should be able to cope with domestic imports.
  23. It's a case of having to, grab it why ya can fella.
  24. My heart bleeds.?
  25. Thanks Stubby, you are a mine of information, I'd be lost without you mate.
