  1. Anyone got one? I very nearly took a Fallow Deer out in the lanes this morning, missed it by inches, this is the second time in three weeks the first time I was in lane 2 on the A14 when a Muntjac shot across the other carriageway, jumped the barrier straight in front of me I missed that one by moving over into lane one. I've just been looking at the link below, for £8:50 it's got to be worth a try. Deersafe Deer Whistles – Helping you protect deer in Sussex DEERWHISTLES.CO.UK
  2. What you thinking of traveling in, a jet plane? Sorry TVI, no more derailing.
  3. I've a feeling a little self praise is going on in your post. Hope you're keeping well mate.
  4. The last member of the public holding him down was still right next to the twat when the copper shot him, I think I would have shat me self. As said some brave people about.
  5. Have you kept a diary that you are referring to for this thread TVI?, I struggle to rember what I did yesterday.
  6. Not quite, he said, "We've been back and forwards for the last three weeks". If his terms are payment on completion of works that's the end of it.
  7. I don't know anyone looking for a truck ATM, I'll save the pictures and post them on another forum I'm a member of if you like?

  9. Why are folk kicking off at the showing of this film to the extent some picture houses have pulled it?, I know what's gone off but don't know why. What's the story behind the violence on the streets?
  10. I had to come back to this, you explain things so clearly that someone who knows nothing about woodland management (apart from what I've read on here) can understand it. Easy yet interesting reading.
  11. This place gets more n more weird by the day, funny how it seems to happen when TVI is involved.
  12. There in lays the sickener, 600 quid saws being sold for £40-£50. I'm not sure which winds me up more, the thieves nicking them or other tradesmen buying them.
  13. Now you've said that it could have been a 410 that I did the Transit job on, I take about as much notice of tool model numbers as a do car model numbers, none whatsoever. I do remember it being a costly bit of reversing though.
  14. You could charm birds from the trees.
  15. I've got the 420, cracking saw. I replaced it for a 400 that I reversed over... Don't ask!
  16. I did mention it in another thread recently, I'd love to come over in the truck next spring for a mooch about. I'll pack the BBQ and supply beer.
  17. You've already started and you haven't agreed a rate?, that would be first thing to do tomorrow imo.
  18. My pleasure, no mention of the pump engineer at the ice cream factory but I'll let it ride as not to derail this cracker of a thread. I really enjoy finding out people's back story.
  19. Possibly the best thread ever, and still in its early stages. Nice one TVI.

  22. I'm glad it wasn't just me.
  23. Gobby, we are taking a three phase inverter out of a pumping station next week due to a new supply going in. I'm not promising you anything because it's not my job, if it comes available I'll let you know.
