  12. Hi all, Just wondering what people think of newer trucks 2012-2008, renault masters, movano's, iveco's and transits etc? Just thinking about electrics etc and limp mode.... Also do people out there use Fwd at all? Cheers

  16. Ground out and all arrisings left on the side as they were going to re flag that area thus needing to dig to put some quarry waste down, so saved them part of a job
  17. I always grind out the root plates... i did this with my pedestrian grinder...
  18. i need a new ground helmet and a climbers maybe.... i'm down to one visor between the two as pulled the visor out of one and left on the chipper and drove off any how visor knackered on this helmet now..... seems expensive to buy a visor and the brackets!! faulse economy so might aswell buy new helmets....
  19. Spiderjacks are ok. Mines covered in crap. Grime and sawdust and is fine. Sick of prussic binding in wet horrible trees. One thing is the spider jack is a pita when working above anchor point. You have to pull slack rope up to get further up and out as it always wants to self tend!

  21. Horses for courses small stump grinders. I did 25 or 28 conifer stumps in a day once. Felt like id been wrestling with a bear all day lol
  22. The dyneema 2.1 uses 2 crabs and the velcro uses one....
  23. Velcro isnt good. Tried one and rope kept comming out and not staying in line. I can imagine you d get one and try it and say its crap..... seems like too much effort at first. But when you stick at it, it gets easier. Dont like going back to prussic unless i can help it....
  24. Theyre ok on a 13mm rope. Need a rope guide for best results
