  2. im kinda in the same boat as you mate, went to start my van this morning, fired up ok, then heard a large bang, van lost power and i lost all electrics. good start hey, so ive managed to jump start it was ok, but never held its charge, just waiting for a spare batt to get to me to try or if its the alternator... but yeah days work lost, sorted out things at home and sorted my gear out too... again... even though i did it last weekend.

  5. many thanks guys! i will start looking at pti instead. my assessor on my cs 39 said it was basic but when i survey just thought this would look good and help? as some want to see suvrey qualifications etc... even though befor we climb as the cs39 teach's you to do a tree report befor you climb etc the assessor said thats what the course would be about just another qualification.

A few pictures from a job my self and alex_m did a couple of weeks ago in Thetford. job spec was simple, 80ft roughly tall pine, leaning towards the house, ALL branches must be lowered as over house and car port, including his bmw x5 in the garage, well done alex for keeping it in one piece and thats the deal. had a nice steady supply of cups of tea through the two days it took hope you all enjoy..

Evening all.. is there anybody out there who can help me out from time to time? i am based on the norfolk suffolk border near diss norfolk, and dont mind a little bit of travelling to collect it. Basically any private jobs i get and warrant a chipper can anyone hire one out to me? Got the opertor etc just will need a chipper every so often. can collect it etc etc, but just wondering if anybody wants a bit of extra cash and to help me out? obviously there will be terms and conditions and insurance etc, which i am happy to and will go along with. if anybody can help please pm me many thanks.

  21. I am with you mate, after every use, may be a little sharpen on the chain if required, i even do the same with my hedge trimmers, wd40 befor and after use, filters cleaned etc. My gear has took alot of saving and hard work to get so i just want to look after them and let them repay me back!

  23. does it count that i was in the marines for a short time at 16 but had to come out after a bad motorbike accident and i couldnt complete the training?
