  6. Sure some people out their will be very interested to take part? Help for Heroes – Climb A Mile I am writing to you with regards to the ‘Climb-a-mile’ event that we are hosting on the 7th September at IOG Saltex on the 6th/7th/8th September 2011 at Windsor Racecourse. The event mirrors the ‘Climb-a-mile’ event that was a success at Scoine Palacein in Scotland earlier in the year. BTS Utility Arb Limited will be coordinating this event in conjunction with the registered charity Help for Heroes and we will be trying to raise as much money as possible for this exceptional cause. So what is ‘Climb-a-mile’? BTS Utility Arb Limited will be running climbing demonstrations over the course of the 3 days. However, on the 7th September 2011 we will be looking for 20 qualified climbers to climb a single tree enough times to equate to the equivalent of 1 land mile. We anticipate that using a relay technique each person will need to climb the tree approximately 5/6 times during the day to achieve this. In addition to this event being a Help for Heroes fundraiser we are also waiting to hear if the Guinness Book of World Records are interested in recording the event. If they do there is a good chance that is will become an annual event where the current record can potentially be beaten! So, we are looking for the following: * Qualified climbers who would be interested in being part of the climbing team and hopefully a world record holder * Sponsorship for the BTS climbers that are taking part * Or any donations that you would like to make to help us support this great charity If you would like to help, take part or even make a donation please contact Gary Devereaux ([email protected]) or Alison Walsh ([email protected]) for more information as soon as possible. All participants wishing to take part must be registered at the latest by 12th August 2011. Thank you for your time. Kind Regards Gary Devereaux Commercial Manager

Mate of mine said to include all work to british standard etc... thoughts please guys.. many thanks.
  20. we got their in the end though mate, regardless of the chipper packing up... can think of a better word for where we were than a council estate!
  21. i like it when you have been working for a good couple of hours, saws doing their bit, bit of chipping, and then someone comes out moaning they work nights and expect you to go away or to be quiet... fully respect that night workers would find this annoying, but the attitude of some people is something else which you just cant please.
