  2. if you are going to start a business, then you need to do some homework, you cannot expect to have it handed on a plate,,,look around the forum, there's plenty of info on here,
  3. actually the tree officer visited and said the tree should be felled!! but as the planning ap was for reduction and removal of at- risk limbs that what was granted... the point of my question was: should the owner of the tree be paying....he knows it needs doing, he's granted access etc etc, but is not expecting to have to contribute... if the next door neighbours chimney fell through my roof,,,, who should pay????
  4. arbgirl.. yes the tree i'm looking at is TPO'd.. the owner of the house next door has done the planning ap for it, and got it,,, they have got access through the owners garden granted by the owner, but he doesnt want to know anything about paying for it,, i think that's out of order and he should surely have a duty of care to maintain his tree...

  6. funny, i've just got in for a quote that is not dissimilar to this.. would love to know where you stand as well.. 2. would also like to know where a client stands with the neighbours tree that DOESNT over hand his garden BUT everytime there is deadwood it falls on his property due to wind,, the owner doesnt want to know...i recommended speaking to his insurance and letting them speak to the owner..? sorr

  8. seems to be blocked with something, but i've tried everything and can't get the blade in... sawpod,,,, tried it,,, not so sure on that one,, although it is better than the belt..

  10. had mine for a couple for weeks now,,, yup it's sharp,,,had a fight with it and now have a redesigned thumb, anyway, has anyone else had trouble with the scabbard? mine doesn't seem to lock home properly sits proud about an inch and wants to fall out alot, hence the funky thumb and no this is not a silky v cutting edge thread so don't even start... the saw itself is blooming marvellous..
