  1. what he says.... maybe you just need to work for the "right" brand... who are you working for at the moment? where are you based? and are you willing to travel/ move? what bikes are you used to working on? can you prep race bikes? etc etc... you ARE in a good industry, ok you're never going to be a millionaire rodney, BUT you're not ina crap place,,, maybe you just need to look at where you are at through a slightly different shade of rose....

    glad it's not just me,, the weird thing is i'm SURE i did the cap up,,, do they have a habit of not working sometimes? a few old ladies got more than they bargained for when they went down to the woods today that's for sure...

    almost there.... so,, i normally carry a spare pair of trousers but as i was not leaving the ground today i left em at home... but then i remembered i had my waterproofs in the landy.... but that was in the public carpark.....1/4 mile away... no need to say how many people saw me running the 50 in pants, boots and a helmet...

    so as mozza said, after a minute it starts burning.... alot,,,,, so i'm in the middle of a 14 qacre garden with my nuts on fire,,,, nothing for it,, i rip off my pants and start pouring my water over my front to try and rinse the petrol off... this seems to work, however... i'm now stood in the middle of these big beautiful gardens with pants and a petzl.. oh and due to the water i now look like i've pee'd myself..

    so,,, figure that i cannot carry on as am covered in fuel, working on my own so didnt want to take any risks,,,, went to sit in on tractor and have a coffee. then it all went wrong...

    walked back to the tree, started saw, then got a distinct smell of fuel.... i'd only not got the bloomin cap on somehow and tipped a whole tank of fuel down my front.. from just above the waste to my knees..]

    went to refuel, so as usual did the oil first... then using the filling system did the petrol.. all good so far..

    fired up the 362 (yes it's a stihl.. found the husky to be a bit of a toy... mozza :-) used a tank of fuel cleaning up the limbs and stem

    ok, so here goes... had the little greenie hitched up to the back of a little kubota,, all going well, got all the kit down to the tree that is in the vid on the todays job thread... was donning my austrian stylee salopettes..

    :lol: here's todays video,, it doesn't show "what happened.. but re the vid... it was last weds and i had a funny feeling,,, the only way i can describe is like this.. if you are surfing in water where there "may" be sharks,,, most of the time you'll be fine,, but once in a while you get a "funny feeling" i listen to them,, i then get out of the water.... usually i then see a fin.... same last weds,, was not happy in the tree, found decay in the bottom of this one and didn't want to climb it.. felled it instead... cleaning up today this is what was inside..     so, as mentioned in the happy birthday tommer thread. i had a little incident today.. now. tommer you're not allowed to answer on this,, but 10 points to anyone that can guess what sort of pickle i got into today,,, clues.. 1. i was in Par, in the big gardens again 2. machinery involved MS362 3. sainsburys carrier bag 4. some dodgy polyester trousers.... 5. sort of streaking...
  23. he's busy with olly's trains... i do know he's been flat out with the stone walling so physically cannot type at night... as for facebook,, don't know how to use that one...
