  1. i keep getting comments like"oh youre so lucky working outside" and youve got the weather for it" easy for them to say wen they are sitting on their ass typing a memo etc,never get in the winter tho wen its peeing down or freezing,love being outdoors no matter what the weather

    haulage rate

    does anybody offer a haulage service in hampshire,would be to collect a tractor, just need an idea of cost, ie cost per mile round trip,cheers
  3. looking for a used tractor,60-70hp, duties will include paddock work,maybe light forest work/fencing,will need to be road legal,prefer ford but maybe a green or red one,very tight budget,up to 4k,depending on hours/condition and hampshire area...i know im asking a lot but you never know ! pm me please

  7. blanked the auto decomp on my jonsered 2156(same as a 357) seems ok,had about 15 hours use sinse i done the job
  8. oh and screw the boards down, that way you can unscrew to make minor adjustments,coz 9 times out of ten the boards will have defects and not line up on the end board, cheers
  9. low decks,ip ut the posts/stub legs on dense blocks,sunk in the ground,concrete any newel posts in as they will be leaned on by drunken revellers, anything over say 2 foot high i would concrete the posts/stub legs and newel posts, low decks, the weight of it normally keeps it steady, hope this helps, post some pics up of your finished jobs, always good to see other peoples work

  13. i would allow at least 3 days for 2 blokes,maybe get a nipper as well,i would price it at £1200,unskilled labour or not,its still gonna be bloody hard work and boring as hell,but the end result will look great,a total transformation.

  15. ive got about 200 tubex left over from a job some years back,they are a bit grubby but all have ties in them,wee bit battered but completely useable, free to collector,winchester/eastleigh area, 75cm i think

    not a ranger thats for sure,came to sticky end today up a greasy hill
  20. used a 262 many a time, blinding saw,and also have a 371 which i bought new in 1999,still going strong, my jonsered 2156 is a right whizzer but when it comes down to it, i would have to say my 371,nice sound,great balance,nice power and feels at home with a 15" right up to 24"bar, odd occasion ive run a 28" and handled it well, 262 a very close second tho
